The interview went well. The interviewer was very nice. The guy who checked all the documents was nice. The officer asked me a LOT of questions about how we met, how long we have been together, whether our parents have met, why we are having the ceremony in the US etc. In the end he said that he is approving the visa but it will take a little longer. Now waiting for it

Once your application is beyond normal processing time, you can call USCIS to put in a service request. It is kind of a mechanism to expedite things and once service request is accepted, you can get decision within 2 weeks. In our case they did not accept our request because according to them, the case was within normal processing time. Actually it depends on who you get to talk to.
