  1. I had my interview last Nov. 2, 2012, they asked for my updated NBI Clearance, CENOMAR and the latest ITR and W-2 Paystubs of my Mom (Petitioner) but I recommend you get ALL OF THE REQUIRED documents ready even if you already submitted it to the NVC, It's better to be prepared than to be delayed just because the Consul asked for a certain document and you haven't prepared it for the interview. This might cause you delays in getting your visa. The questions are all basic, Who is your petitioner? Your relationship to her? What does she do for a living? When did she go to the US? Something that would establish that you are the Spouse or a unmarried son/daughter of your petitioner.

Good luck on your interview! :) God bless.

  2. I got approved yesterday, November 2. :) And still can't believe I'll be going soon to the US. Haha. Thank you to everyone that answered my queries directly or indirectly during the time when I was just prepping for the interview. Thank you very much! :)

I do have a couple of last queries though, how do I track my passport/visa on 2go? on average, how long does the visa usually arrive? and what's the process in attending the seminar for the CFO sticker? Thanks once again! :)

  3. i'm a little bit confused.

how was your case considered "expedited" when your PD became current last month (as of the Sept 2012 Visa Bulletin My link)?

your interview schedule should have been sent to you atleast a month ahead (early August) and prior to that you should have already submitted your DS-230 together with the civil documents to NVC in order to qualify as Case Complete.

Back November 2010, Our priority date became current and our attorney advised us to file for our case to be expedited because of the looming retrogression storm projected. Mom paid for all the visa fees including Affidavit of Support, at Dec. 27 the NVC informed us that our case has been forwarded to the US Embassy here in MNL and further communication would be initiated by the US Embassy. But unfortunately on January, the worst happened and the retrogression happened. So right now, the papers are with the US Embassy.

  4. Hey Guys. My mother has petitioned me and my father and our priority date is now current. It was expedited and after sending out our DS-230 Part I and II to the US Embassy, we received a letter from the Embassy saying if we would like to schedule a interview we should call them or go to the ustraveldocs website. We scheduled an interview online and was given an appointment on November 2, 2012. We were told to compile all the civil documents (Birth Certs, Police Clearance, NBI, etc) but I read on the internet that it should be sent first to the NVC.

First, Should we have our Medical Examination now? What would we present as our appointment letter to the clinic? How about our civil documents, should we mail them along with our Cover Sheet from the NVC? Your feedbacks would be greatly appreciated. :)
