Hi all,

I applied to have conditions removed in December 2011. My temporary residence expired on March 22, 2012.

I received an I-751 extension of conditional residency dated January 03rd, 2012 saying that my conditional residence has been extended for 1 year.

I am now traveling to South Africa in December and will be returning on January 05th, 2013.

I have just finished a call with USCIS wherein I as told that the extension of my conditional residence status for 1 year from the date of the I-751, i.e. January 03rd, 2013.

So I will be getting back 2 days after my extension expires.

The USCIS was not able to offer any update to my case status, so in the absence of any further information, does anyone know if it's possible to extend a I-751 conditional residence extension and how one would go about this?
