Well a few months on and lots of nail biting, the journey is over for 2 years, i am now a Permanent Residence of the United States

Sitting here waiting not so patiently for my Police Certificate, its the only document i need before i can book my medical....Its been nearly month and still waiting

Well they say that a rolling stone gathers no moss and i must say its true!! once the petition is approved and you get your NOA2 then things do start to move pretty quick if you are well prepared in advance of your letter arriving from the embassy!!

When your feeling at your lowest and think the visa will never be approved never give up....just keep phoning and if need be write letters to your senator, if no joy write to the Ombudsman, if no joy write to Obama in the White house details are on his website....just keep going and one day it will happen...good luck to everyone on their visa journey...our loved ones are waiting!!

OMG!!!! Well finally after 7 months and 3 weeks we got our NOA2 approved!!! We can see light at the end of the tunnel..our advice is to everyone else in the same position is keep phoning the uscis for an update...like every week. This is a great site for those who are nervous and anxious about the wait and the process!! i come on daily to see how things are progressing and see what dates they are currently processing, it seems to help with the whole waiting thing lol.....i was concerned with the medical and interview, but there are some great posts in the forum about this and has put my mind at rest!!

Well having checking nearly every couple of days to see what date they are currently processing, its getting exciting...we are well on track for the estimation of time scale...filed 31st Aug and they are processing 25th July's applications.. 3 months from NOA1 AND NOA2 is looking good ...getting closer
