  2. Subject: I-601A PROVISIONAL WAIVER OF UNLAWFUL PRESENCE

    January 4, 2013

    NVC Case Number: KHF0000000000

    Dear xxxxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxx

This notice applies to you if you are currently in the United States, are or have been unlawfully present

and plan to apply for an immigrant visa at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad.

Beginning March 4, 2013, certain immediate relatives of U.S. citizens may apply for a provisional

waiver of inadmissibility due to unlawful presence before leaving the United States. For more

    information, please visit immigrantvisas.state.gov.

Before filing Form I-601A, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC) by

emailing NVCI601A@state.gov. Failure to notify the NVC that you plan to file Form I-601A will delay

    your visa application.

I received the above letter via email this morning from NVC did not understand the reason why I received this letter or have to complete the I-160A form. So i call the NVC office and was told that the above letter only apply if beneficiary live in the USA at any giving time so the letter do not apply to him also did a followup on my case and was told that some information was missing.

  3. I am filling for my husband; however during the time I was laid off from my job and now that our application is approved my income is not enough to support myself and my husband and I don’t have anyone that is willing to help me fill out the AOS ( Affidavit of support). Are there any forms that I can submit for a waiver to continue the AOS filling?
