  1. HYey Everyone! I am planning my first trip to Lagos, in less than 5 months.....I plan to have one bag checked in....what am I allowed to pack? Meaning...can I pack food items? Water? What is allowed?

      Hi. You can pack two 50 pound bags and carry on two. Usually one pull around and the other a gym bag size (as long as you can put one in the overhead and the other under your feet.) Yes, you can take food, water would be difficult because it is heavy. I take a Britta picture to make tea and kool-aid. I take a single Britta bottle to filter the "bottled water" there.

      Check with your airlines. I fly Delta and you can check two at 75 lbs, and carry on luggage (that can fit overhead) plus a carry on such as a purse or anything that can fit under the seat). Be sure and boil water if you can, otherwise bottled water should be ok, but I have heard to avoid the little bags of water. I am sure you will enjoy your stay in Nigeria.
