Had our Interview, and we were approved!!! We were thrilled, but of course, still waiting because there are always twists and turns. So we were supposed to pick up our visa on wednesday, but when we arrived at Haiti Messenger, they told us it wasn't there, to call on Thursday, which we did, and now they say call on Friday. So I am pretty upset about all of that, and decided to call the embassy. After calling, and being told to call CIVA (which btw I have never heard of until J...

Thanks. He had to renew his passport, and that was a nightmare, but God helped us get it just in time without errors. So he went for the medical exam, but I didn't know it is in two parts. So he went and had the exam (x-ray, blood test, physical) and then they told him to come back on the day before his interview for the shots. Is that how yours was? We are just waiting now.

Thank you so much! We are going to schedule the med exam on Monday. We are just ready for everything to be over. It seems like we will be in the States before we know it, but then again, it seems like "Will this ever end?" I am just glad we haven't had to be apart this whole time. I have been living here in Haiti since we got married, so I hope that helps us at the interview too...

We just prayed for the Lord to intervene and help us get a interview scheduled in October for November, but even so, we thought the appointment would be late November. When we were...

Hey Mbcadet. We got our interview date scheduled yesterday!!! We are so happy. I have a question though. Do you know how much the medical exam will be with the shots? We do not have medical records and I don't know if they will make him take all of his shots or determine which ones he does and doesn't need.

Thank you so much for your response. I am sorry to hear that, but hopefully your situation will be straightened out. Could you tell me if there is a police certificate needed from Haiti? We were informed that the police certificate was not valid from Haiti, therefore we did not need one, but there have been a couple of times we have been misinformed. I am looking desperately for clarification.<...>

Hi Chynna. I am new here and just read your comment on the embassy. I wanted to know how your second interview went because my husband and I are waiting for our first interview. I wondered if you ever found out why yours went into Admin. Review? I am just trying to mentally prepare for this. Any comments are appreciated.
