Hi everyone,

We are a couple that is looking forward to living together in the USA. My girlfriend is from the USA and I am from Spain. I finished my medical studies last year and now I am doing my residency in Spain. But I want to do/finish my residency in the USA to work there as a Psychiatrist, which is the residency I am doing. I know I have to take the USMLE exam and to apply for it through the ECFMG. In fact, I have already done that stuff but I don’t have any answer from them still. So I wanna know if someone knows another way to do it or if I am doing something wrong in this. We want to marry in the future, but not now due to economical issues, so we are looking for another way to be able to be together.
