Anybody know where I can get the NVC checklist that I am required to attached to get Singapore Police clearance? I understand that i need the request letter and the checklist. While waiting for my DS 3032 to be accepted, I'm gathering all docs now so that as soon as the IV is paid, I can quickly send the package to them.... Thanks!

If you've got a decent internet connection try Skype. I pay about $5 a month to get unlimited minutes to call any US phone line from my computer. You can subscribe for minutes for less money if you don't need unlimited minutes. It's very clear and very easy to use, I subscribed specifically for this process, international calling is toooo expensive!

Finally got the NVC# today finally, moving forward...

and used m1 1818 phone card it has 330 minutes to used

oh gosh! Called NVC from overseas...and spent 40 mins on hold then had a busy line ...wish NVC have an online query so we dont spend so much on phone charges... anybody approved on Jan 25th that got their NVC# yet?

Im not sure if here is the correct forum to post this.

Wifey situation is that she is currently working in Singapore and has to give up her job to start processing the paper works in Manila.

These are our concerns:

1) When do we request for the Singapore Police Clearance for her? There is a 10 working day processing time. And based on our research, they dont give it unless there is a request letter from US embassy, is this still correct now?How do we get the request letter?

2) Does she need also to get NBI clearance?

3) Since she needs to give up her job and needs 30 days notice for her employer, when is best to be considered as her last day of work?

4)Any other docs she needs to prepare aside from birth cert, marriage cert, police clearance?

Any filipina who have just recently finished the I-130 process out here? We are interested to know the recent timeline for each processes...

Oh wow! Just when I wasn't keeping tracking of it lately(so bz w/ work), the decision came out! After 164 looong days, it is approved!!! YAY!!!SO happy... Was informed by email.
