My interview was on Thursday and by Monday I received an email that my AOS was approved. ( So about 4 days including Sat. & Sun.)

I have a friend that been married for 3 years when AOS was approved but she didn't get the 10 year green card.

Thank you for the reply. I called them and the woman I spoke to said my card will expire 2023 and I am a permanent resident since July 1st ( the date my AOS was approved), She asked about my receipt # and she searched into their system and told me I have the right card.

I thought I supposed to get the 2 year GC since I filed for AOS not the ROC.

I received my green card today and so happy! , then the expiration year is on 2023 . Should I call them and ask about this? I've been married for over to 2 years when my AOS was approved. I need some advice on what to ask before making a phone call to them. Thank You!

I think I must be the last person to get approved on April 2012 filers! LOL Cause I just got approved today and I'm so happy!!!

Right here! April filers... I recieved RFE on January 18th,2013 and still working on it,hopefully next week we'll have it ready and send it to them.

I have been waiting for 9 months too and just received an RFE letter from CSC (Jan. 18th,2013). I hope you'll be hearing something good in a few days.

There is no deadline of when to file AOS,but you will be out of status and you can't drive,you can't work and can't travel outside United States,just stay out of trouble And it really sucks coz you have to stay in the house most of the time. I filed my AOS after 1 and half year since I got here and we did got married within 90 days,I don't really recommend you on filing late just based on my experience but sometimes things happen. Yeah, I know. It's kinda frustrating, especially when you can't do anything until you get the green card. No job. No car. Not being able to go anywhere, meet anyone. Maybe your situation is different than mine, hopefully better than mine.

Yes it is frustrating. And i know how it feels like because it took us 1 year and 6months before I filed my application. Can't do anything since then but I got my EAD now and able to get my driver's permit and learning how to drive. What we can do now is wait and patience it is very easy to say that but hard to do. Let's just hope we hear something good soon.

You are not alone because mine too has been 7 months since the day I filed my AOS from K1.

Have no idea either,I filed mine in April 2012 and was transferred to CSC in May. I didn't get any RFE or something except my EAD.Some of the April and May filers (AOS) have gotten their gc already and they were transferred to CSC. Hoping we'll hear something this month from them.

Based on my experienced I didn't have any problems on my K1 journey back in 2010,Me and my Husband has a 23yrs age gap. I was 20 yrs. old when we started our K1. So goodluck to your friend!

You are not alone,the NOA date on my application was April 17th and transferred to CSC on May 24th and still no greencard or news from them. I received my EAD July too. We did called the USCIS customer service last Monday and that man told us to wait 15days to call them back if we still dont hear anything.

I don't know how they approved the GC. Others get there GC a month after biometrics or after they got EAD. So for me, not all are the same process. I just wait, but when the month that i expect is over. Hhhmmmm.. That's another story and that's not good. You try to call the hotline. Then let's see what they will gonna tell you.

I forgot to tell you my case was Transferred early June to CSC,after I received my EAD I haven't heard anything since. Pls keep me posted about your case.

Just want to hear any news from anybody waiting for there GC. Had my EAD months ago but still waiting for my GC. Its been transferred to CSC, it will be the 6th month now after it was being transferred. And one thing I don't have my SSN yet since they are also waiting for USCIS to verify the documents submitted.

I sent mine last April 2012 and received my EAD July 2012. They transferred my case to CSC early June,I am still waiting for my green card or any news from them.I also applied for my SSC and waited 3 weeks after receiving it.

Same here my sister petition for my mom in may and her case was transfer to CSC in early June she received her EAD in July but that's it she would have been better off getting a interview appointment.

I've been married for almost 3 years now on K-1 visa within 90 days of entering the USA, but haven't filled for the AOS yet as we are tight in cash plus my husband was diagnose with serious illness. Is anybody here have any experience in filling late? will they give approval to my AOS? We sent my application last Aug.22 2012 until now we haven't heard from them,am so worried sick about my application.

Hello there,I entered USA as K-1 visa and got married before 90 days. I've been married for almost 2 years and took us 1 and half year to file for my AOS because of financial problem.My husband got hurt on his job and took 9mos. to recovered.I just filed my AOS with the I-765 last April 12th,2012 and fortunately my I-765 was approved last July 12,2012 and i haven't heard anything about my AOS. I understand how you feel this times. Let's just hope and pray.

Hi... I sent mine April 12th,2012,fortunately my I-765 was aprroved and I received it July 12,2012. I keep checking the status of my I-485 online and still say's Intial Review,i am worried about it coz i thought i will be getting my greencard sooner after i got my EAD.
