I am a us citizen and My wife and daughter are under administrative processing for 4 months now in Dhaka.i called department of state and also contact with congressmen and senator here all I get the response is they must complete the processing and they will call my wife to pick up visa when processing is finished and no further document need .they keep their passport too.my parents also been on that processing but they received visa after 2week.im waiting everyday for call from embassy.i miss my wife and 1year old daughter a lot .but nothing to do only waiting.so wait and pray to almighty Allah .only he can help us.ap is really a dark hole where we can't do anything accept wait and pray.so pray for me and inshallah your wife will get her visa soon .ashraf

Hi Im Ashraf an US Citizen and im on the same boat.My wife ,9 months old daughter and my parents appear on interview September 17th ,2012.My parents get visa next day but they keep my wife and daughter passport and also told them the embassy will call them when there visa is ready.Since then its almost 2 months now no response.i keep calling Department of state they say its still under addministrative processing.i dont know how long i have to wait.i remember for one of my friend it take 4 month to recieve visa.

im on same stage.my wife ,8 months old daughter and my parents appeared for interview on september17 ,2012 at bangladesh.they gave my parents visa rite next week but my wife and daughter they keep there passport and is under addminastrative processing since then its been 1 and half months now.every time i contact with dos or embassy they say its still under processing and they will contact them when its finished.so frustating and a never ending journey.i wake up everyday for a hope of good news but have a sleepless night thinking of long wait.pray for me and family

Thanks for reply.you know they just playing with our immossion .any body else here has at ap for cr1 wife please let me know.today is the 9 th day and its feel like 9year for me

Please let me know if anybody r onthe same situation like me.I m a Us Citizen has applyed for my wife ,Daughetr ,and parents.They all have their interview on september 17 at dhaka.After the interview they gave my mom visa next day and put my father and my wife and 8 month old daughter on Additional processing .Interview officer was satisfied with their interview and keep their passport and tell them they will call them when their visa will be ready.then on september 21 embassy call my father to pick up his visa and say my wifes visa is on processing they will call her when its ready.I m so depressed and dont know what to do .I call DOS they say its still under administrative processing .i emailed embessy and they reply same...please reply if anybody on the same boat

Any body else has recieved visa after Ap at dhaka..My Father get visa after 5 day but my wife and doughter are on ap since september 17..I was wondering since im a Us citizen and i apply for my father and my wife and doughter on the same day ..why they taking to long to give visa to my wife and daughter and give visa to my father within 5 days.im dying to see my daughter
