  1. Here is my advice in regards to your situation.

Effective since 2007, all none US citizen should not leaves US without authorization from USCIS that mean, you will first need a travel document to return back home, so that you can reenter United States easily without any hassle from Law enforncement or immigration officials upon reentry at the US port of entry. Also, Keep all records for all police report in term of abuse that you are enduring now in the course of your marriage to prove to the USCIS that you did entered your marriage in good faith, but your Ex husband was the one that abandoned you and the marriage.

Lastly, do not worry about been deported. As long you get your Green card, you are in good shape. Start now to apply for social security card, so you can get a job to support your own life without the support of your ex husband.

    Good Luck my dear........

  2. No offense guys, but the judgement to rush to marry while K-1 petition is pending seems like misjudgement in my opinion. You should have wait and finish your k-1 petitioning and get marry when your fiancee finally arrived in the U.S. Both of you would have to start all over again in the petitioning process, and will be expecting a lot of delay, time consuming, fiancial hassle, and a lot grilling during the interview. USCIS will take a lot of time to review your paper work this time, due to short timing of your marry while K-1 petitioning is pending.

Anyway, Good Luck to both of you and congratulation on your marriage.

  3. I got the text to check the website saying that my status has changed, my heart was about to bust out of my chest waiting for the website to load.:D:dance:

On October 25, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I don't think that I can be fully at ease until I receive the letter but I'm guessing it will go something like the above statement. Its such great news with the wait feeling like forever. The best part about all of it is that Saturday I leave to Colombia with my family to celebrate our engagement with her family.

Congratulations my friend. We got ours the same day. Probabally, October 25, could be our lucky date

  4. That March 5th line is BS.. anything to get you to lower your standards of expectation.. I obviously am not approved yet, but I am early May.. call it wishful thinking but I think I will be approved by the first full week of November.. Have you played around with #s on the USCIS website? You can see if people are your # are getting rfe'd, approved denied etc.. maybe that would offer some insight.

Thank you for the info's. quick qestion, how do you check or compare your case numbers with others who are currently getting approval, denial, or RFE in the USCIS website.? Can someone tell me the steps. Thanks....

  5. Hello All,

Can someone with approval date of today or the last couple of days updates us in the current state of K-1 Processing time at VSC.

VSC is slow and not transparrent on what is really hold them back so far behind compare to CSC. The USCIS website is the worse to get information. As of OCT 04, 2012, The website keeps saying the VSC is currently processing march 5, 2012 for 1-129F. To make matter worse for us, the previous month of sept USCIS website updates was stating Feb 27. Did the VSC just process 5 days in the entire month? This can not be realistic at all. I do not care how VSC can spin it. VSC is either lazy, someone is doing real poor job, or imcomptete. !!!!!!!

  6.

I have been married 10 months to my visa wife. I put her on my bank account and had 15,000 dollars. At first it was bliss but then

she never seems to be happy unless she was shopping. I know she misses her family a lot and I would always console her when she cried.

To start a fresh beginning we decided to tour the state for a new home and move. At first it was alright, sharing in the newness of the

city, taking hikes. But once again she became sad and became critical. She would stay on her computer for hours or run off to go shopping

The bank account is now down to 5000 dollars 6 months later. If we got into a conformation, some of them I think she would purposely start,

she would take off for hours. One night I woke up at 12:00 to find that she was gone and did not come home until 10:00 am that morning.

She has began fabricating stories and making everything my fault. Even the night before she got her green card she played the I'm moving

home card and left for the night. I got a phone call to meet her at a hotel room that was near our capital 30 miles away. She was approved

and received her conditional green card. She started looking for work and got a job. The Saturday before she was to start work I came home

from A Homeless Ministry and found her car pack with everything she owned including her cat and dog. 2 days later she transferred 1200 dollars

a personal account she set up. A week later she was back in the home. That lasted a week until once again she threatened to move. She had

been drinking so I told her she could not drive. She walked off at 8:00 and told me to leave her alone.

I don't know what to think she rented a home on the other side of town and she says she does not want a divorce nor couples counselling.

    Brother,

Please listern to my advice. First and foremost, I am glad you are able to speak freely and seeking helping rightaway in regards to your marriage situation. my thoughts to you right now please run away from this woman of yours. She is intentionally playing you for visa gains and financial gains. According to your messages, your wife has already made her mind about leaving you since she got her Green Cards, and there is nothing you can do to repair your marriage, or prevent her from leaving. The patterns of her behaviors indicated a very alarming and serious situation for you fiancially and emotionally with a lasting effect. Please do not wastes your time in this marriage. Also, remember the document you signed during her process (I-134 OR I-184) AFFIVADIT OF SUPPORT. This document put you in the hook to for her fiancial support regardless, whether you are staying with her or not, so I will encourage you to be smart, and

be prepare ahead of time for worse case scenerio. Second, limit your fiancial wastes, cut all her shopping stuff only basic stuff to support her as required by law, third, find your self a lawyer ASAP, last, do not let her get permant resident card the one without condition in it. By divorcing her right away, you could prevent her from acquire it. The green card with condition she has rightnow will expire in two years, and she will have no choice, but to return back to her home country otherwise, she will be staying as illegal. I wish you the best bro.

  8. VSC IS SO BEHIND IN APPROVING 1-129F forms. I do not understand why the Texas lockbox keeps forwarding I-129F forms to VSC, when they know in fact that VSC is so behind. CSC is now approving June 20th compare to March 18 for VSC. WE are American citizens and tax payers and we should deserve better services from USCIS. We are paying 340 dollars for same services, and USCIS in VSC cashed the money so quick and do not want to hire more people to do their job. This SUCK FOR REAL !!!!!!!!!!
