  1. thank you so much guys! :) we will just wait couple more days and will call to see if the check is cashed.

hopefully everything is going to be ok...

we were September filers for fiancee one back in 2012, have been in the black hole, been thru so much. it took us 10 months to finally see each other. Never wanna experience that ever again! now here we are, September again, hope this time it will be a lucky month for us!

and good luck to u all also heart.gif

  2. About one month.

The embassy don't schedule your interview appointment till they confirm the payment.

You will need something like the letter in packet 3 (something shows the case number) to get police certificate, and medical check.

  3. My fiancé tried to call NVC and tried to get things fixed but since they got his dob wrong, they couldn't provide any info...sucks! We called yesterday again, got told his dob was still wrong!!! They never fixed it after we emailed my fiance's BC a while ago...smh...

So there's nothing we can do at NVC stage, we will contact both embassies and congressman, this is def going to take longer :( ...

I just can't believe American government do their job like this, with no responsibilities!!

  4. I am so pissed off and disappointed at NVC right now.

Our NOA2 of I129f is Apr 22 and since then...first, they got my fiance(the petitioner)'s DOB wrong and thanks to that we couldn't get the case number and had to email them the copy of his BC, and then we never heard anything back from them.

Then, today my fiance got a letter from them, saying our file has been fowarded to GUANGZHOU, CHINA and our case number is GUZXXXX...I am a Chinese citizen but have been living, working in TOKYO for a long time. I am a Japanese permenant resident. All the overseas add. or consulate fields on the forms we submitted is printed TOKYO. All the pics, evidence we attached is taken place in JAPAN. So NVC just sent out our file to a wrong embassy...

This is absolutely BS. We waited almost 8 months and finally got out of the black whole, I could have recieved my packet and started preparing for the interview by now...but thanks to them, I have to wait more to be with my love. This is depressing...

Anyone know how much more will I have to wait? Please, if there's anyone who has been through the same situation, please share with me.

    Good luck to you all.

  5. So then it will most likely be accepted? Just reassuring, reading the last was a great relief!

According to your country, Germany, yes it will be accepted. Both your fiancé and cosponsor will have to fill in I-134 form.

For fiance visa processing, USC fiance must have stable earnings more than the base income level set by the HHS and is based on the total number of dependents of USC and USC's fiance. In your case, using a financial cosponsor, all cosponsor dependents must be counted.

2012 Poverty Guidelines for the 48 Contiguous States and the District of Columbia

    Persons in

    family/household. Fiance Visa Marriage Visa

    1 $11,170 $13,963

    2 15,130 18,913

    3 19,090 23,863

    4. 23,050. 28,813

    5. 27,010. 33,763

    6. 30,970. 38,713

    7. 34,930. 43,663

    8. 38,890. 48,613

For more than 8, add $3,960 for a fiance visa and $4,950 for a marriage visa.

    Hope it helps. Good luck!

  6. Nearly all consulates will allow a financial cosponsor for either fiance or spousal visa processing. A notable exception is the U.S. consulate in Manila who will not currently allow a financial cosponsor for fiance visa processing. In Manila, you must qualify on your own or your fiance will be denied the fiance visa. A financial cosponsor is allowed for all marriage visa processing by rule as well as for stateside adjustment of status to become a permanent resident green card holder.

  7. Hi VJers thanks for coming in! :)

So...me and my fiance(American citizen)just filed our K1 petition the beginning of this September. There's a question just popped upon my mind today. Please help me! i am kinda worried...

I once have applied for B2 visa in June 2011, because I wanted to visit my boyfriend(at moment, not engaged yet) in Cali. And it got approved, was easy and very smooth. but the thing is I didn't tell the CO at the interview that my purpose to enter U.S. was visiting my boyfriend, instead, I said I was just gonna go on a 2 week trip in Cali alone. I got my visa in no time and have traveled to the states twice since then(2 week short each time)to visit the love of my life. Told the officers at the POE exactly the same as what i told the CO, everything went so smoothly but I just didn't mention any info about my boyfriend.

He proposed to me in LA when I was on the 2nd visit, we got engaged, I returned home and a few months later we filed K1 this Sep.(attached a few pics that we took together when i was in the states)

so what im worried about is, will it be an issue? will it influence our K1? what should I say if I get questioned in the future interviews?

has anyone ever been through this? please help! thanks in advance!!

    good luck to yall!

  8. Hi everyone! I'm new here :)

Well...my fiance just sent out our K1 package yesterday(9am ish, Sep 8th Cali time), when I thought we did everything perfectly I realized that 1145 form is supposed to be on the top of all the other forms...but we put ours in the middle of the others...

I don't think it will be an issue but I just wanted to make sure...

Has anyone here ever been through the same experience? and still got NOAs by texts/Emails from them?

It prolly sounds a bit silly but anyways thanks in advance. :)
