  1. We should not shut down a topic just because one person gets their nose out of joint. If there are no more questions or opions so be it but do not shut down because of one person.

You seem to have missed the point. No one has said to shut it down. It's unclear why you seem to believe that's what's being said, but as you acknowledged, you haven't been around long, so you don't know what's what. It's easy to make assumptions; best to ask.

Whether or not it was your intention that is exactly what happened. IMO only because you got your nose out of joint and the others did not want to upset you further. I do not have to be here a long time to see when someone tries to bully others with their intelligence. And if you do not appriciate the thread then move on and let the rest of us form our own relationships and opinions about others in this forum.

I expressesd an opinion and you call it getting my nose out of joimt. Well, you must have yours out of joint too, and you are trying to bully anyone who disagrees with you. You can move on if you don't like me having my say. I was here first.

I sure as heck have seen a bunch of bullying Green which is why I posted the thread farther down... If you can remember certain occurences and post them, it would sure help curtail it and even identify who is constantly doing it

Visa Journey is a great source of information, and has helped many members with their immigration process. It is a lot of work.... a shame to see some members degrade, humiliate, and attack others based on a biased opinion. Such nonsense, as my mother would say!

  2. The quickest way to get a case status is also to email the consulate directly. In the subject line include the interviewing consulars initials, as well as the US consulate of.......and the head consulars name ( if known). This will direct the email to the individuals mentioned, and most likely get a response from them quicker.

My best advice to anyone who has red flags, and is petitioning for their loved one at a consulate known for denials.. is to marry, then file an immediate relative petition. This is not a guarantee for a visa issuance, however if a petition is returned for revocation, the USCIS , by law is mandated to review it, issue a noid/noir, which a petitioner will be given 30 days to rebut.

  3. :help: I traveled to Morocco this summer and met my fiance. We could have (and wanted to) be married there, but were told it takes less time to file for the K-1 fiance visa, in comparrison to the K-3. So I filed the K-1 as soon as I got home. My fiance's friend told us that if we married in Morocco, it would take about a year and a half before my fiance could come to America with me. I was just wondering if this were true, and why. I am planning a trip in December/January back to Morocco to be with him and I was wondering if we actually got married what would happen to the K-1 status. Would we have to start all over, and then file the K-3 instead? And does it actually take longer, if we were married first in Morocco, rather than waiting for him to come to America on the K-1, if we did in fact do it that way. Thanks, any information is appreciated. Laura

  4. Just a though Moroccogirlny.....there is a list of 9 people we know of from Casablanca that has been sent back to the CIS just from our little group alone. Now if you were to mention this to them, and that we all say that they have violated policy when returning petitions, I am wondering if this might help your case. Lets face it, you were discriminated against because of religion! Now what I am thinking is that maybe if they suspect that you might be pushing towards an investigation of the consulate they might decide against sending back your petition. You know....to shut you up!

Anyone else have a thought on this? Doing this isn't going to help those of us that have already had their petitions sent back, but if it could save just one person some heartache I would be so happy.

WELL Kim asked my fiance if he touched me ......? He had to go into detail..For a k-1 ?? Then she asked him why he cant find a fiance in Morocco? ..The one thing I did read into says that if you have a legal complaint that you want to be taken in consideration it has to be withing the 30 days of the 221g . There is a form to file . Then state the reasons of your belief that it was not a fair interview by law. It is 110$ and a place for the lawyer to sign . Unfortunately I dont have 650$ right now to do this and I only have 1 more day. My interview was March 07...I dont really know , I would suggest if you have the money to contact a good lawyer and have him dispute it if that is what he or she thinks is best within the 30 days. THIS IS SO STRESSFUL >>.>>>grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  5. Is the woman who keeps giving out 221g's name Kim? I was just at the Consulate and I had a woman, not American who had dark hair and I also saw a woman with blond hair, maybe American, and an older man. Which one is the mean one? Is there any way for my fiance to ask to speak with the male officer when he has his interview? I'm sorry for everyone who keeps getting their cases sent back to the US- I'm basically just waiting for my turn to get a 221g at this point. Is there anything we can do here, or someone to complain to in the US about this problem? Good luck to everyone.

    Sarah

Hi Sarah .....please keep the faith! Maybe you won't get Kim on the day of the interview ! When is your interview ? I will pray for you ..take care and good luck !!! :luv: FLY

  6. Hiya Leila .....................I want to say .I understand , I am currently working on this with the sec of state by submitting a long letter . Please feel free to pm me or write an email . I would be happy to listen and let you know what is going on so far with my case that was sent back too. Please feel free to join our group as well. As far as consular officers, they are not to reajudicate approved petitions . I am sorry to differ with the oppinion in here... that it is their job to ask questions and make decisions like that . First of all none of us expect a co to look at someone and say ok you can have a visa . What we do expect is for a fair and legal interview , without predjudice and discrimination. That is our right ....to choose who we love, regardless or race , creed, or religion .Unless there is solid evidence of fraud , or a violation of the application process , IE criminal record , is not legally free to marry , or has a communicable disease . The co does not have the right to take that away from us ... Especially when there is a valid relationship .....documented and approved by dhs . Leila ,...this is not the end ...this will be reopened and you will have a chance to show validity . Keep your chin up . YOU ARE NOT ALONE !!

:luv: WE can all fight and win this unjust suspension!!

  7. :luv:(L) Thank you all for your support and my heart goes out to you Leila too. I had a response that said he should have said he doesnt want a fiance in Morocco because he loves you. He did say that to the consular . Yes tis the same notorious consular, as all the others with three letters in her name . They call her the brown lady ! I have joined kiyas group ...and really until it comes back to Vermont and I get my money for the lawyer , I will have to wait like all the others . I just wanted to let others know that are going through Morocco is tough! Please dont let this stop you from being with the person you love . It is a suspension , and they will review it here eventially. When they do , I will be ready ........I have already written to Vermont , but no reply yet . This has taken so much out of me ,, but its not over till its over. Someone needs to leave Morocco ......and its not just our fiance's and husbands . GRrrrrrrrrrr Sorry to vent ...Just a matter of time before someone stops her . ;)

    Have a good day ,

    Christine :luv:

Hi again all .........KIM is her name , unfortunately you dont have a choice who you get to interview. I have written to secretary of state regarding what is going on. This after talking with the assistant secretary, who asked me to fax it to them . No reply yet ..... but we will see , they told me it would take time .

  8. Yes Morocco is giving out 221g for validity............I was there , had so much proof . I waited outside as I was not allowed in the building . Consular knew I was there , said tell your fiance if she has any questions to go to front window......I did and they handed me a paper stating "we do not discuss visas here ". Did not find out for about 2 weeks it was due to validity. The consular never looked at anything but the petition and a few pics . She asked my fiance why he couldnt find a fiance in Morocco. Then she said how would you feel if you did not get your visa today ? OMG I am livid .........trying despartely to hang in there , as many others are in the same situation. I have decided to hire a good lawyer , but unfortunately that is going to take me another 2 weeks. Past the time of the 30 days after the interview . So it goes on and on. I ask why but the answer is at the consulate . Question is how long can they continue to give these out without being told this is not the way this works from the dos . Which I wrote a long 3 page letter to the sec of state . I dont know , but just be aware of anyone going through Morocco ,,,it may be a battle . Be prepared to have some extra cash to hire a lawyer .

    Take care ,

    Fly

  9. The OP needs to be aware of that. Couples in Morocco without this particular beneficiary's history are having a very hard time right now, and a different K-1 app (with a different petitioner involved) less than a year ago isn't going to look too hot in Casa.

What happened in the beneficiary's interview for the first K-1? Was he approved or denied and, if denied, why? The answers to those questions are important to know here.

  10. Thank you for your replies ..........I will be there for the interview ! If nothing else I will know I was at least there for support ! I understand there has to be security checks . and proof of relationship , but this is not fair ! My friend said an HOUR he was questioned and then without even looking she said "I don't believe you " I pray for all of you who are going for interviews , or have been unjustly given this 221g without reason! At least I know what we are up against here !!!

    :crying: Christine

  11. I have a friend who emailed me ,..after interview was given a 221g. I have researched it ,but I am still confused . He told me the case has been sent back to usa where application was sent from. Does this mean they are in review? Or does this mean that a final decision has been made not to approve the visa ? I have read other comments on timelines ,,waiting security checks. Did they also receive a 221g, or is that different ? BTW this is Morocco embassy .

    Thanks ,
