    Just got home from USEM. The interview went smooth and the American Consul even congratulated me and said that my Visa is approved. However, on the releasing section the Filipino guy said that I still need to wait for the result and that they need some internal checking. Now I'm confused. Does anyone experienced the same thing??? Thank you.

      I've checked the status of my Visa at CEAC and it says ISSUED. I guess I got approved after all. Thanks for the replies :)

      yes, he just said to wait and they'll email me if there's any problem. He doesn't give me anything but I noticed he attach a green paper on my documents.

      @corey & julie: Yes you can schedule ur interview even without the letter from the embassy. Most cases they don't get the letter at all. For the medical: I only brought my passport, st. luke's registration online, 3pcs 2x2 picture, just tell them you got the mnl case number already.

    What if my fiance didn't meet the poverty guideline? will his assets and bank details can compensate to it?

      thanks for the reply. I was able to search for it and you're right. The total value of assets must be equal to at least 3 times the difference.

      hi zsazsa.. sorry if i have lots of questions. Did your fiance bring his vaccination record during his medical? what if i don't have the record and i forgot which vaccination ive already took?

    I called USCIS today and they gave us GREAT news that we were approved today Feb 14, 2013. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone and we hope that all of you who are still waiting will get their approvals soon.
