its not that she's changing her name. they printed the wrong last name on the green card. The paper work has her married name on it the green card had her non married name. Sorry for the confusion.

I have a quick question, and i'm not sure if this is in the right forum. My wife's i-601 got approved but when they sent her the green card it didn't have a married name on it. So, we filled out the form for the name change and said it was an error on the uscis part. They received this on november 8, 2012 and we still have not received and thing from them. When we call they say we just have to wait till they get to it. I was just wondering if this is a normal amount of time for this to take?

My wife handed in her passport when she went in for her interview in Jamaica. That was the only photo Id she had. Now the visa package is ready at dhl. Will they let her pick it up with the dhl receipt that has the waybill number on it?

We received out I-601 approval notice on August 3rd and it was dated July 13th. We still have not received any kind of follow up letter to tell us whats next. Does anyone know if this amount of time is normal? We are filing through Kingston, Jamaica. Also, does anyone know how we will be contacted?
