    Alhamdulillah!!!!! My husband just call me to tell me he get call from the embassy in cairo to tell him to bring in a new ds230 and his passport, medical exam and new police report. I emailed the embassy to be sure because they wake us both up....lol

      Yup.. elhamdoallah! they moved it to the 27th of May instead of 17th of June! Thank you so much for your du'as dear :) :) I wish you get your visa very sooon!!!

      Thanks Janet for your support! I am trying to stay strong ... you should too and we can help each other thru this tough times in our life... I re-dent them the email again asking for earlier interview. medical is ready and we are all set. I will cry from joy if they reply! sigh! :(

      Alhamdulah it's all good! I got an interview date assigned for June 17th, but this is far from what I need. I sent a second expedite request on the 3rd to the US embassy and my congressman submitted one to DOS, NVC, and embassy! My case really needs that request to be approved. I need a May interview! Inshallah they will consider it this time.. Please keep me in your prayers :) How are you case going?

      they did respond and they rejected it! shame on them :'( I think Cairo NEVER accepts it lol! I had a congressman ask for it, and it was rejected! I sent out my packets (AOS and IV) today and they should get there tomorrow! inshallah it will get processed soon! :)

    NVC received our packet today!!! hey hey hey....they gave me a reference # and said it would be on its way to the embassy in the next two weeks. Again, thank you God.

      Mady, it gets expedited based on specific criteria, including severe medical problems, hardships, and other reasons that I couldn't recall from the top of my head.
