My fiance had his interview at the Ankara Embassy on Oct. 11. The interviewer told him he was approved, but he needed an additional document because last year when he was in the US, he switched his tourist visa to a student visa. The interviewer told him she needed a school document with dates on it. He showed her his school ID, but she said they needed an actual school document. We obtained a transcript, and he mailed it in with the form she gave him and his passport. Does anyone know how long it will take for them to process this and issue his visa? She assured him he would not have to go back to the embassy and they would mail him is passport. This is driving me crazy, not knowing if they have his packet or if its approved.
