    Hi....

    I agree with what you say.I have my interview date on 1st oct.And Ahmedabad VFS center is not accpeting documents.Told us to register our self and have print of that on the day of your interview.But I am facing the same problem...And priority date is the date when your petition was filed. http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/glossary/glossary_1363.html#priority............visit this you will get all glossary terms here.

    Congratulations!!!! We are so happy for you. I will appreciate if you can help me with following at your earliest

    1) Did you submit your documents through VFS or just took everything on the day of your interview?

    2) Since your visa category was CR-1, do you wait in line to enter the consulate? How soon you recommend I need to get to consulate on the day of my interview?

    3) Can you please briefly describe the interview process - how did it go, what kind of questions were asked etc.

    4) Can you pick up your visa packet today (from the consulate in person); if not when will you get it (can you update asap you have the visa packet in hand)?

    Well...i also dont know that where to submit all the Docs...But one guy is having his Interview this 28th Sep and he went to VFS for Docs submission..but they refused and told him te process has changes and that he must take all Docs with him directly during Interview....He has emailed the Consulate abt this change and what to do next and is waiting a reply from them...He will post the answer as he gets a reply from Consulate....When he posts i will inform here...But i advise u to call VFS and ask them what to do if anyone's interview is after 26th Sep....May be they give u a more better answer or a different one.....

    Yes, in Ahmedabad there are 2 Apollo hospitals that are approved to perform medical tests for US immigration. Please check the below link for further details:

    For Mumbai area panel physician hospitals are 2 in Ahmedabad, 1 in Surat and 1 in Mumbai. Where are you from?

    i m from abad ... here in d link u hv share, they hv list of mumbai , kolkotta and chennai .. whr is abad list of hospital ? i dont know but cnt find it .. :unsure::help:

    You can get it done from Apollo, Gandhinagar or Apollo, Near Parimal Garden in Ahmedabad.

    oohh really ? can i ? i ws in the impression dat , medical is done from hydrabad or some odr city .. but not abad appolo ? :unsure:

    to be on safe side book youre tickets after 1 week.

    like my interview is on tuesday ... sooo.. can i book my tickets on sunday ? or should i wait from odr week also ?

    Okay so August filers have been getting dates :yes:

    I guess we are gonna have something soon...what I understand is we need to call NVC and get the date as emailing takes 2-3 days after date is assigned

    So let's try calling with our fingers crossed :)

    my husband called NVC a day before .. they dint gave any concrete reply . and today is friday ... last day of week ... hope to get some good news soon !! my case ws completed on 20th august. Other countries have been strted getting dates !! hope our number comes soon !!
