I called today and got the same answer. Now comes the dreaded weekend where we lose 2 days. Roll on Monday!

I called the visa center and our case is still pending administrative processing. Usually these RFE's done through the consulate are resolved within 10 days. They've had it for 3 so we may just have some news by Thanksgiving! I'd rather him here for Thanksgiving but I'll take good news too!

October 11th! We just got it today!!!!! Congrats on the plane fare--Halloween in the states is something to see. Soo many trick or treaters. Does your little one know what (he/she?) wants to dress as yet?

Oh wow. I'm sorry about that. You'll be celebrating thanksgiving soon enough, no more purgatory. Just over a week until your interview! I'm so excited for you. At this rate we might be getting our Oct interview after all. Late October but we're goths so a halloween interview would be perfect >.

That would be fantastic! All we keep repeating to eachother is ' I just want this nightmare to be over with already'. Early October, What an awesome time for your interview because what better way to mark your arrival into the USA with a huge thanksgiving dinner?

Yup, DS2001 was sent off the same day as the DS230. We're def not far behind you.

Ooh, also, there's a House Of Fraser outlet store in Swindon and the prices are insanely low (I got a religion dress for £7)in case you want to stock up on warm, cute winter gear.

If you want to wait until you get here, Sears is really good for nice coats. I'm still not 100% on whether the DS2001 was sent yet because I haven't heard back from the lawyer but I know for certain that the DS230 was sent out on Sept 5th which was the same day as his medical. It would have been sooner but right after we got the case number we took a 3 week vaca in New York with my family.

Stuart sends his congrats too. I emailed the lawyer yesterday to see if the DS2001 was sent out yet--No word. We're trying to calculate our possible interview date based on yours since we're so similar.When was your DS2001/DS230 sent out? (FYI- WARMEST coat possible and snow boots, upstate NY has arctic winters. Stunningly beautiful but brrrrrrr)
