Relax, my sister's took more than 8 months to get approved. My hubby's 7 and 1/2 months. So, no worries. Good luck. You can check priority dates on USCIS website. Just hope and pray and God will turn everything in favor of you.

Mine took little over than three months afte I updated my status from Greencard to Citizen. Is your wife's I-130 already approved from USCIS? If yes, then it should not take more than 3 months.

And please don't stress out too much. Interview your wife as you're CO and cross question her as much as you can, and as long as she answers everything correctly and confidentally, everything will be smooth. Good luck.

There should be list of documents on the interview letter. On my hubby's, 2 photographs, passport, medical reports and original documents that were not submitted to NVC and wedding pictures and if anyone else is sponsoring your wife besides you, take 2011 tax returns and I-864 signed by the sponsor.
Lemme know if you have any questions. My husband took all the copies of the documents that were sent to NVC, our pictures while I was there after the wedding and on Christmas.
And they can cross question her as my hubby was.

Virgo 2012, Congratulations. I'm also waiting for my husband's interview date. After your case was complete at NVC, how long did it take to get the interview date. My case was completed lastw week at NVC. I did call NVC and they told me all interview scheduling for September is done and now I've to wait if they'll schedule my hubby for October interview. I'm ust curious how lond did it take for your hubby's scheduling so I can have an estimation. Thanks you so much.

Hi all,
I'm new here. Heard your stories, I'm in the same boat. I'm also waiting for my husband's interview date. we sent our documents on August 10, 2012. I called them this past Monday and was told that my case is complete and waiting for US embassy in Pakistan to schedule an interview. The operator told me that all September interviews have been filled up so we've to wait if they can schedule my hubby for interview in October. Can someone tell me how long does it take to schedule an interview and when does the actual interview happens, I mean after how long? and Admin Process, how long does it take to complete? Help is much appreciated
Thanks.

Issuance of visa depends whether you're citizen or greencard holder. Petition must be approved from USCIS before your case goes to National Visa Center and US Embassy. I'm not quite sure abou pioity dates though. That's what I was being told when my hubby's case was in USCIS. Good luck
