Hi....how to get the tracking number? Pls help me to tract my files, case closed oct 4, embassy Hongkong, tnx

My husband (petitioner / USC) and I (beneficiary) will soon be filing the I-130 petition from abroad (where we both live) for a CR-1 visa.

As part of the evidence proving our marriage is bona fide, we want our parents and our mutual friends to write affidavits stating that they know our relationship is genuine and our marriage is legally binding and entered into in good faith.

However, we cannot find whether or not these affidavits need to be notarized. The guide here on VJ doesn't mention it and I can't find mention of it on the USCIS website either. What do you recommend?

We did notarized the affidavit to prove its true.

I hope im next in line. Called the nvc, but still they havent review the packet IV.

September 20 FedEx delivered new IV pack as I got checklist for question 30. But all other docs were delivered by USPS sept.7.

Good to know that your AOS was accepted on 9/21 which means I am right after you, 9/24. Hope you get yours approved soon.

NVC got the IV packet sept. 24, hope to be case close later this week or early next week to get november interview.

Yes, mine was received on 9/17.

Day 8- NVC received both AOS and IV package on 9/17 11 am. I use an attorney so I get to send AOS and IV package the same time.

NOW CASE COMPLETE!!!

omg! this wait is killing me for the status to say paid for the DS230! i want to send in the paper work now! lol.. AGGGH!!!! i did it on a sat. night. so most likely itll say paid tomorrow right? or tonite? has anybody paid a fee over the weekend?

My husband did, and it took 3 days, wednesday afternoon, it changed to paid

Oh...oh...oh....my husband paid the iv bill last friday sept. 14, but up to now its stil in process unlike our aos that just took a day ;(

Everytime I want to add my info to the list I'm getting an error, so I just share my case with you guys this way.

It took only 5 businessdays from case complete to receiving interviewdate!

We planned to be in the US by X-mas, seems that will work out just fine!

Congrats....hope my case will be complete before end of this month and have interview by october so i will be with my husband on before christmas, our first christmas as husband and wife.
