What a great morning!!! My husband just got the text that his green card is in production.... So excited

Hi all I'm back, my Husband and I called the USCIS last week to find out what's the hold up? At first I was told his app is @ the NBC then they told us we are within our processing time being that NY is up to oct 28th. That has been since May 31st of this year. I really don't understand why they don't update the system, its August and they are reflecting May... how about june now...

Anyhow congrats to those that have been approved and to those that are able to submit service requests... God well it won't be much longer of a wait for us all

Checking in once again... its been a while that I gave an update and I am grateful my husband has a job and he is able to travel. Looking at all the post I see we are all in the waiting boat; my field office is still on Oct 3rd as od April 30th... and that means for me I might not be getting a GC for him until Dec who knows could be earlier. I know it sounds crazy but I'm only praying we don't have to pay for the renewal. I'm sure the light @ the end of the tunnel is coming soon so stay strong.

Just got text for EAD/AP "My Case Status' and I checked and it said this:

Card/ Document Production

On March 4, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

We had our Interview today.

The immigration Officer was very nice, we were there for 20 minutes. She asked us to show her documents that were under both of our names and that supported our relationship: banks accounts, house lease, etc. We only have health and car insurance under both of our names so that's all we showed her. She also asked for the marriage certificate and my husband's original birth certificate.

She asked very simple questions like how we met, she asked me about my husband's family and she asked my husband about my family. She said everything looked good, but had to review the file again.

She asked for my husband's phone number in case she needed to contact us. She said that was all and walked us out of her office. 3 hours later we got an update saying our card production had been ordered. yay! Thank God!

Dandk.. I called yesterday and they verified that he only recieved the EAD not the AP. Although approved for bothead and ap it's not automatic to get the combo card. The rep told me to have my husband call if he has not received any information in 30days. Silly but I guess its another wait atleast he gets to work to I'm happy for that.

The card states no reentry into the us... so only ead. Thanks for the response wish everyone the best on this journey.

Today my husbands EAD card arrived in the mail, the strange thing is he was approved for both EAD and AP but his card says not valid for reentry.... and online status for AP has post decison no card ordered... wasn't he supposed to get the combo card? Has anyone encountered this

My Husband was approved on the 15th for his I765 & I131 so excited he can go to work

Just so you know, you can do an early walk-in biometrics once you have the appointment notice, just get there early. That gets the process moving earlier. I did mine like 2weeks before the actual date.

Update we received my husbands biometric appt letter yesterday. Its on 1/14 not sure what to expect that day but he will be there. Never thought it would be so close. Yay

Holidays are over and I sent in the AOS package the 20th of Dec. Pleasant surprise on the 2nd of Jan I got the text and email confirmation that all three apps were received. AP and EAD is under intial review; Also my filing feee has been cashed so I pray all goes smooth from this point on. The waiting game is on....

Hi another December filer here. I sent off my husband's AOS package on 12/20 but the chicago storm held up the delivery. The good thing is I sent it ups and I know it was received on the 24th, the bad news is they might not process it as it is the holiday season. So I am hoping I get the NOA1 tomorrow or mid of next week.

Hi Sweetness hope all is well, yes he picked it up on Friday. I called DOS on thrusday and they told me it was issued on Wednesday and then I finally got in contact with DHL in Jamaica on thrusday who told me I had to wait for the courier to pick it up from the embassy. Later that day the system was updated received and then ready for pickup.

I hope you and yours get the update soon.

Thanks, I called DHL and they said we might be able to pick up tomorrow as they have not received it from the embassy yet.

But the senario I was speaking of is when he was approved on the 5th the Monday here was colombus day (holiday) so Dhl picked up on Tuesday and the shipment stayed on hold. I know its only been 3 business days for you but I am hoping it will be quicker for you and they move it.

This process is a lil stressful especially when you just want to move on to the next step.

I hope you get it soon, as I stated the same senario happened to me and I called DOS almost everyday. Today I called and they said it was issued on the 17th, but DHL has not updated there system yet. So check both if a week passes.

I am thinking there is no logic behind the delivery, even though we are not picking up in Mobay he got approved on the 5th and we are still waiting to see the change stating ready to pick up. I even called DOS which helped by saying visa has not been issued yet, and there is additional work after it has been approved. Well hopefully we get it this week...

Rob was approved!!! He'll be sending me details about he interview later, so I will post them when I have them!

Our interview review is finally up, I hope it helps someone (others) as I had to pull information from him due to me getting home very late from work. He was so tired cause he woke up at 5am this morning.

I am still at work but once I am home I will get more info from him, and I hope we get tha visa soon also. Thanks to everyone and as always this site is a wealth of information I am very glad they created this and for those that participate.

I filed in February, petition approved in August, and today my babe called and told me he was Approved!! He got to the embassy earlier than expected but they let him in and from what he told me he waited about 3hrs then was called up they asked him three questions took his passport and said congrats. Yayyyyyyyy I am over joyed

I have been viewing different forums on the sidelines, thanks to everyone that has a question and that has posted a response. On that note my babe hasn't paid the fee yet but with what you all are saying this is a total ripp off but I will let him know what to expect. And I guess islandgal is right we should expect a lil difference due to the exchange rate
