Hello March AOS fillers
.I applied for AOS on March 5th.
Had biometrics on April 1st.
Got EAD on may 10th.
Wondering why I didn`t get yet any update about the interview for AOS.
Are there applicants with the same AOS timeline which were scheduled or went for the interview by now?

You both cannot... just ...give up like this. If you got until this point, after all k1 process ..after all the 7 months waiting, after all the stress with the processing....that mean you love eachother and you wanna be with eachother for the rest of your lives. I understood from your post that he is the man you love..the man of your life...I suppose he loves you too because he bring you to live with him. You both went trough a stressful and complicated k1 process which is ended now. Life together as couple..can be tough sometimes..that doesnt mean the love is just gone. Gone where? Give a try to marriage counseling if you both cannot find any other way. I`m sorry and I cannot imagine how you feel. Wherever happens, be strong, God is with you always.

You can call them and give your EAC receipt number to see if they have a case number.
they got our file Friday 30th nov and we got the number too...now waiting again

Hi I am in the same situation as well. What did you ask exactly when you called NVC? We received NOV2 on Nov 14th and I called yesterday (Nov 28th) and they said they haven't received anything yet.
I just gave her my EAC number.... thanks in advance.Me too.

It took our case 2 weeks to get from CSC and put in the system at NVC and then it took 3 weeks to get from NVC to the consulate in Bucharest. (When I called I was told our petition was in additional processing)
So it was a little over 5 weeks total from NOA2.
Once our petition reached the consulate in Bucharest it went really fast.

Why the files get stuck at NVC? Has anyone any ideea? How long did take in your case for NVC to get your file from VSC or CSC and send it to the embassy?

Did anyone get any good info from their phone calls???
..Yesterday 15Nov we called USCIS too. 5 months and 3 weeks since NOA1 at VSC. The answer was that Vermont is working on the K1 files reveived on 15 April 2012... How that is possible when the "Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: September 30, 2012" is 14 April as USCIS website.
If anyone else called them ...what was the answer you got??

We all should write to the U.S. senator for Vermont, Bernie Sanders, as someone said on other topic, about the slow processing situation at Vermont Service Center. Worth a try, maybe something it will change.

I called USCIS and asked if there is any update on my case as I had biometrics 2 months ago. They said that the processing for I485 is somewhere in Sept 2012. Some cases are not scheduled for interview as I read here but it takes longer to be approved. Anyways..I am confused. We are so used to wait with all this K1 process so I suppose there is nothing else but wait...
