  1. Hi everyone!

Yesterday my husband received his 797 saying he was approved for his AOS. It was dated March 14th. So we received the notice in 5 days. It doesn't say which card he'll receive as we're just a few months short of 2 years. I'm really hoping for the 10 year card. Also, since we never applied for travel documents will this allow him to travel out of the        U.S.? The site has not updated to show the new status. Go figure.

    Thanks pcke2000.

It's a I-765. I made the online inquiry on the 7th followed by a call on the 10th. I forgot that I'd received an email on the 7th stating that they would review the case and respond by the 29th. Funny how the mind can simply forget things it doesn't want to accept. Lol.

UPDATE  I-765 approved on 1/20/17. Out for delivery from post office today 1/25/17.

I just received an email in response to the inquiry I made on 1/7. That was day 81. Here is basically what it said

The status of this service request is:
Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

Has anyone else received this response? If so, what was the outcome?

    UPDATE

    Day 92  I-765 is approved.

It means USCIS is working on your case. I don't know which type of case you were talking about (I-485, I-765, or I-131?). However, my personal experience suggested that online service request (inquiry of case status) is not very helpful until your case hits the USCIS suggested maximum processing time (e.g. 90 days for I-765).

    Thanks pcke2000.

  5. Hi guys,

I had my interview in Montreal 45 days ago, and since then I entered AP status (officer said that he needs extra time to review my case without asking for any extra docs, he didn't ask to get my passport) and remained like that until yesterday when I noticed that it changed to "Ready" for interview appointment. I think there is a glitch in the system because I am not supposed to have another interview. Does anyone have an explanation? Should I expect them to ask for my passport soon?

    Thank you.

It's probably the AP. I think you'll move on from there. By the way when did you do the biometrics? And how long after that were you approved?
  6. On 11/19 we received a notice that form I-693 had not been submitted. Do not mail any forms at this time. However Hubby will need it at a later time. If he has an interview then he must bring it. If he doesn't require an interview the he'll receive an RFE ?.

Does any one know of a reasonable Dr in the Saint Paul MN area?

We also received a notice to do his biometrics would that be NOA2? I don't see a space for that on the time line.

  7. Good luck on your journey.

I called USCIS today because I didn't receive a notice that they received my packet. The officer explained that sometimes they send them and sometimes they don't. I want too happy about that. Now I'm wondering if I'll receive any future notifications via text or email. I asked about my case and she said if I don't receive receipt number in the mail after 10 days then I should call back. This process is going to wreak havoc with my patience.
