Hi everyone!
Yesterday my husband received his 797 saying he was approved for his AOS. It was dated March 14th. So we received the notice in 5 days. It doesn't say which card he'll receive as we're just a few months short of 2 years. I'm really hoping for the 10 year card. Also, since we never applied for travel documents will this allow him to travel out of the U.S.? The site has not updated to show the new status. Go figure.

Hi all. On Nov 2nd vey early I received a text that my husband's I-485 case status had changed. I checked the USCIS site and it stated that his interview is scheduled for Dec 4th and that the notice was in the mail. We revived the hard copy on Nov 3rd.

Thanks pcke2000.
It's a I-765. I made the online inquiry on the 7th followed by a call on the 10th. I forgot that I'd received an email on the 7th stating that they would review the case and respond by the 29th. Funny how the mind can simply forget things it doesn't want to accept. Lol.
UPDATE I-765 approved on 1/20/17. Out for delivery from post office today 1/25/17.

I just received an email in response to the inquiry I made on 1/7. That was day 81. Here is basically what it said
The status of this service request is:
Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.Has anyone else received this response? If so, what was the outcome?
UPDATE
Day 92 I-765 is approved.

It means USCIS is working on your case. I don't know which type of case you were talking about (I-485, I-765, or I-131?). However, my personal experience suggested that online service request (inquiry of case status) is not very helpful until your case hits the USCIS suggested maximum processing time (e.g. 90 days for I-765).
Thanks pcke2000.

SEASON GREETINGS EVERYONE! CONGRATS TO ALL WHO HAVE RECEIVED GOOD NEWS AND WISHING GOOD NEWS TO ALL WHO ARE STILL WAITING. MAY EVERYONE HAVE A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.

For i-130,I-765 and I-485 concurrent filets, whoone cases are ready for interview, my guess is that once your I-485 is approved then you will get your GC and you won't need working papers cause your GC will be all you'll need to go to work.

Wow, I mailed mine October 7th and had biometrics also November 16th, still waiting.. Have you expedited it?
Did you or anyone have an interview?
-
Your case had been upgraded. It is now ready to be scheduled for an interview. Whoo hoo! Now hubby has to get that 693 filled out. Does anyone in the Twin Cities area know of any reasonably priced doctors for exam and transcript only?
-
It's not required however you will need to submit it at a later time. They will send you a letter about that. They told my husband that he would need to bring it to his interview if he had one or submit it upon request.I didn't include the I693. As far as I know it's not required to send it with the package anymore.

It's probably the AP. I think you'll move on from there. By the way when did you do the biometrics? And how long after that were you approved?Hi guys,
I had my interview in Montreal 45 days ago, and since then I entered AP status (officer said that he needs extra time to review my case without asking for any extra docs, he didn't ask to get my passport) and remained like that until yesterday when I noticed that it changed to "Ready" for interview appointment. I think there is a glitch in the system because I am not supposed to have another interview. Does anyone have an explanation? Should I expect them to ask for my passport soon?
Thank you.

My husband did his biometrics on Monday. It took less than an hour. Now we wait and wait some more.

So upon checking on my case status,
Congratulations ☺

Just wanted to update. We received his biometrics notice on Saturday the 19th. His appointment is November 28th. Is this considered NOA 2? I'm asking because I don't see a space for it on the timeline.
We also got a notice that we didn't submit form I-693 and that it would be required at the interview if we have one or we'll get an RFE

On 11/19 we received a notice that form I-693 had not been submitted. Do not mail any forms at this time. However Hubby will need it at a later time. If he has an interview then he must bring it. If he doesn't require an interview the he'll receive an RFE ?.
Does any one know of a reasonable Dr in the Saint Paul MN area?
We also received a notice to do his biometrics would that be NOA2? I don't see a space for that on the time line.

Hi all. I finally received the text on November 2nd even though they received my packet on the 18th. Today I received the hard copy. Waiting for the biometrics appointment. We are at the NBC (MSC)
I was wondering if RFE show up on the site first then the hard copy comes later?
-
Hi all. My AOS combo pack was received on the 18th and I received text and email late last night. Checked the site and it said they accepted my payment for finger prints and the National Benefit Center would be handling my case. So I'm looking for the hard copies and the biometrics.

Does anyone know if the call back feature the only option when calling USCIS?
-
Good luck on your journey.
I called USCIS today because I didn't receive a notice that they received my packet. The officer explained that sometimes they send them and sometimes they don't. I want too happy about that. Now I'm wondering if I'll receive any future notifications via text or email. I asked about my case and she said if I don't receive receipt number in the mail after 10 days then I should call back. This process is going to wreak havoc with my patience.

Good Luck! Mailed My I-129F Packet for the K-1 visa on October 8, 2016, hopefully my Fiance can be here from Jamaica for the new year!

I'm A US citizen and I sent the packet next day on Monday. It was received Tuesday morning and I haven't received any notices. I hope to get something soon.

He received the card today and it's dated with the same date as the 797. So, yeah, you're right. Anyway we're happy to have what we have.
The site still hasn't updated.
