  1. Hi I have question, I didn't expedite my mom's IR5. My priority date was Mar 2019. Yesterday, I received email from NVC and they scheduled my mom's interview for May 11, 2022 but we cant do it that day because my mom's passport expired and need to be renewed and she needs to get new NBI and police clearance and she still needs to do her medical exam.
Does anybody here have the same case who needs to cancel the original interview date? How do I cancel it and reschedule it?

Do I need to call them or can it be done online?

    Appreciate help.

The NVC scheduled my parents interview. They will just notify us the petitioners.

Hi What's your Priority date and DOcument qualified date ? Mine is Mar 2019 and Oct 2020. I'm waiting for NVC to schedule interview for my mom. I'm debating whether to wait for NVC or send expedited request.

  3. Hi, everyone,

I just sent money with Xoom from my bank in US to my bank in the Philippines and it only took 45 minutes. Xoom asked if I could recommend someone who also sends money so I thought of people here in visa journey. If you try Xoom, we each get a $15 eGift Card after your first money transfer.

Please click on this link so they know I recommended you:

    Thanks.

    Tet,

Yea, all worked out fine. It's been a while, actually, so I don't remember exactly what I did. But I sent it back to them and asked for a replacement claiming their fault. I sent copies of all letters from them with my correct name, DL, SSN (if you read above, I don't think they could replace it without the GC but I got lucky, and a letter explaining why I wanted the change.

It was approved and I didn't have to pay for it.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I just had my interview this morning and got approved on the spot. When I checked the USCIS website my status is already on the card document production. During the interview, the IO changed my middle name on the I-485 form to my mothers name instead of my fathers name which I put in the form.

I called today the National Customer Service and told my dilemma and that the IO who interviewed me misunderstood my middlename on my birth cert to be my 2nd name which the truth is it is my mothers maiden name. The customer gave me a case number and advised to wait for their reply.

I am thinking right now to make an info pass and have my GC stamp on my passport. What approval letter did you bring with you on the info pass appointment?

I just received an email notification re my card in now in production. Is that the approval letter?
