Congratulations to Both of You.
I know the wait will be worthwhile.
We start our journey when I visit at christmas with a plan to be through the K1 side of the process ready for a Feb 14th 2014 wedding.
Very random question but does the Fox Soccer Channel show any Championship games?
Im a big Hull fan.
Thanks and congrats again

My fiancé got pulles aside in August during a viisit and when he presented the NOA2 approval letter but was told by the immigration officer in Phoenix that the k1 superseded his visitor visa and threatened to send him back. Not sure how true it is but he said he couldn't visit until the k1 process is complete. Because my fiancé had proof of a return ticket and the deed to his flat in London, they let him stay. He also asked for a utility bill and a letter from his employer stating he had a job to go back to. My fiance is retired but he was able to pull up his gas bill in email. Its very frustrating and they can be pretty intimidating but if your honest things should be fine. They want to be sure you will be going back.
Good
Luck!

I used the shortcut last month and was fine. Our interview is December 11th.

Our interview is scheduled for December 11 and my fiancé would love to be home for Christmas. Can those of you who've recently interviewed give feedback on the length of time between the interview and visa in hand?

That is so sad. Let me know as soon as you get your date. I'm a few weeks behind you but I'll do the same. I'm thinking it will be after the 1st of the new year for us as well.

Just searching similar timelines and found someone who sent in packet 3 October 11, received packet 4 November 2, and got an interview date of December 12. My gosh how behind are they to already be scheduling so far out in December????????

DS-2001 filed October 11. I also waited 7 months for the NoA2. Just a waiting game I know. Just hard waiting for a letter that tells you how much longer you'll be waiting for the interview.

We sent our Packet three prior to our Medical, which was sent off October 30th as we called Knightbridge to confirm. Still nothing logged into the system. We called the extortion line and were told they were extremely backlogged and it could be weeks before it's even logged in. I hate the not knowing.

Our medical was completed and sent off October 30th. We called Knightbridge and got confirmation. I've been reading posts daily and I can't get a handle on how long the wait will be before we get an interview date. I'm hoping just a few weeks but I've read some have waited as much as 6 just to get a date. I realize everyone's case is unique but the not knowing is so frustrating. We've made calls to what others refer to as the extortion line, still nothing logged in but have been told they are very backlogged this month so it may be awhile. Waiting is the hardest part.

First post so I apologize in advance if the topic's been repeated.
I filed my original petition Feb 14, 2012
March 3 it was sent back because the check was for the wrong amount. I mailed the entire packet back with the corrected amount the same day
August 3 I got a request for additional information. I've never been married and they were asking for a copy of my divorce decree
Today September 17 I got an I-797 dated Sept 11 saying the petition was approved and forwarded to NVC
My concern is that my fiance is retired so he flies back and forth from London to visit. I spent the summer with him and when we returned August 5th he was told by immigration at Sky Harbour Airport in Arizona that the next time he leaves the country, which is scheduled for October, he cannot come back until his Visa has been approved. The guy was very nast and said he could be an "#######" and "kick him out of the country" but because his daughter was with us he was making an exception but said he is "noting it in the computer" whatever that means. So my fiance is here with me now, afraid to go back because the rest of the process could take months and months. I don't know what happens next. I'm reading online that people get packets, medical examinations etc. I'm so confused but don't want to do anything that will jeopardize the application. We've followed all the rules and yet it still seems to be taking forever.
Thanks in advance for any advice you share

Is Printout of TurboTax E-File Return Acceptable with I-134?
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
I submitted turbotax copies of my returns as well as copies of my W2 and they were accepted without question. We just passed our AOS interview today and she reviewed them then with no questions.
