I'm sure you will be scheduled soon.  Status changed to in line for interview on a Wednesday and to Interview scheduled 2 days later on Friday.  It looks like Cincinnati has interviews about 4 months after NOA.  It took over 2 months to go in line after bios

I've been watching your timeline as we are in Cincy also, but my husband did bios 5/16 and we still haven't heard anything.  Happy to see things happening at this office.

We got our approval emails. So glad. Hope everyone hears good news this next few weeks.

Received an update that AP was approved, but nothing about EAD.

We filed on Feb 11 and received an RFE in the mail March 12th. They received our response and updated to RFE Response Review on the 15th. On March 27th the status of all cases was changed to Initial Review. Nothing since...

So, as you can see from my timeline I sent my AOS+AP+EAD package on Feb 14. One month after that, I got a RFE for the translation of my birth certificate (which I had already submitted in multilingual form, but whatever).

I mailed the English version of my BC and the Certification by Translator (myself) right away, and my online case status changed to Request for Evidence Response Review on March 21. It states my case is still being processed at the National Benefits Center. I had my biometrics taken on March 25.

I guess my question is: how long after the RFE should I expect any progress on my case? Is there still hope they will transfer it to my local USCIS office, so that it won't just sit at the NBC for months?

Good advice. Yeah we did that after we learned of the returned mail.

You should check why the NOA's were returned, maybe you should put a sticker with your name in your mail box, you don't want your EAD/GC to be returned

Oh ok thanks for explaining that. Mine was for a missing doc to show us citizenship. And no I haven't received an update on EAD or Interview letter. The only updates since RFE was when it went into Response Review and then it went back to Initial Review.

We did receive an email on 3/27 because the post had returned mail to them. We figure that is where the NOAs are. We received the biometrics appointment letter so quick that we never even thought about the NOAs. We called and they told us they couldn't tell us what was returned and to wait 14 days (that's today). I feel it was NOAs because that message came and that was the first time we could see all 3 case numbers.

There are 2 types of RFE's 1) Initial RFE (when you forgot to send initial documents like birth certificate, taxes, forgot to sign a form etc). 2) Additional RFE (when they request something else besides what they asked, like taxes from 2010, etc).

Did you get an update on your EAD? Interview letter?

I had an RFE . I'm not sure I know what you mean by an initial RFE tho.

Congrats! I think the length of time depends on the field office where the interview will take place.

Our timelines are almost the same (minus the RFE we received (answered the next day))...I'm hoping it doesn't slow us down to much. I did receive an update yesterday, but it wasn't to testing and interview.

Well to tell the truth I think the only reason I can see them today is because USCIS had some mailed returned to them. We never received NOA1's, but did receive rfe (for missing bio page) and biometrics appointment letter the week after we submitted paperwork. Never even thought about the NOA's that much until today...lol

Even after the RFE we couldn't see the cases...guess returned mail is more important

Can you see both EAD and AOS cases online?

Strictly speaking we are January filers, but close enough to be Feb filers for anyone interested in timings.

Today for me USCIS case check online worked for the first time ever. EAD is now shown as ordered for production. Still unable to view the actual AOS case online though.

My wife and I are currently in the process for my AOS.

We have received a Request for Initial Evidence, they are asking for the following:

1. FORM I-864 was submitted; however it was not from the petitioner / sponsor

2. Submit evidence of the Joint sponsors status (US Citizenship)

Now I am assuming that as my wife did not submit an I-864 for my AOS the first part of the request is for her to file an I-864? or should I file an I-864 based upon what I have in savings?

Be sure that you include a copy of the BC or the biographic page of passport for the js to prove US Citizenship. I only included it for the sponsor and not the joint sponsor and received an rfe because of that. just a slight oversight.

Email them...we never received anything in the mail from them so they emailed us everything.

So, my question is how long should my fiances packet 3 take to arrive? It was sent to Jamaica from NVC on Spetember 19th and he still hasn't gotten anythimg. It was suggesed to me that we just send in the D-230 and press on without the packet. Any suggestions?

We never received packet 3 in the mail. I just emailed them to get all we needed. He never got the package.

Yeah, there weren't any real changes to it. On Monday it said picked up, shipment on hold and then on Thur it said, shipment received and 10mins later it said shipment ready for pickup in MoBay. No updates between...

Yeah we did! We had it set up to send a text when it changed status or was ready for pick-up but that didn't work. Text were never sent. He got his ticket at a pretty good price, would have been cheaper if he waited but it was below the amount he had saved for it so he took it. We almost thought it wouldn't happen because the update was so late on that thursday night, but I had a friend who said hers was updated at almost 8pm. Good luck!!

Ours took 4 business days! Had our interview on the 21st (a Friday), visa was ready Thursday around 6:30pm. Picked up Friday morning on our way to the airport (9/28)!

A few people we're blue slipped yesterday for this. Line one up and have the paperwork at the interview just in case.

Medical Exam is next Thursday (Sept 27) - I tried to sweet talk her into making it Friday the 28th (day I arrive) but she said Thurs was a better date to give proper time for going back to pick up wk of the interview.

Oh cool! I will be staying in Ochi for the week. Interview on Friday, Gifting on Tuesday for the nonprofit at Beecher Town All Age, and then back to the states on Friday the 28th. Hopefully with him with me or shortly behind. :-) with the waits I have seen him being with me doesn't seem promising in such a short amount of time
