    I've been up since midnight and need to be at work by 5am. Happy much!? Mike finally passed his medical exam and interview on Nov 19! Hopefully it's the last time we'll have to do this.

    I'm glad that Mike's finally okay with the possible rescheduling of his interview. Although we're still praying we don't have to. If ever we have to resched, we hope that 1st week of Nov is still open.

      We've been talking reschedule for about a month now. Just incase something happened. We figured we're soo close already... what's another couple of weeks? Either way, they'll be here before the New Year. Maybe even before Thanksgiving. Yehey!!

    I will not let little things upsets me anymore. We're at this far ahead of the game to be mad and blame their so called 'protocol.' We'll stick to the plan and will cross the bridge when we get there.

    Why did I get post mail from USEM about eligibility to schedule interview? Mike should have gotten this one and not me right?

      I believe so. The girl at USEM said we will both receive a interview confirmation letter in the mail. That is the one they will need to take to medical, plus the email interview confirmation.

    Oh damn, my BFF works at Kay Jewelers and she got me into uhmm buying one of the Neil Lane's Bridal Set. Now I'm so afraid to tell Mike about it LOL he was hoping I will just get a $1k worth (hah! he was funny, where do you get a decent $1k set?)

    This has been the longest that we've been away from each other, 11 months to date. 45 days to his interview day and 60 days to the next time I'll see him and never leave again. Seems like Mars aways....

    NVC is not very consistent with their response to me, from "it's under additional process to we're in the process of opening the packet?" Instead of moving forward, they're in reverse?!

      You still have plenty-o-time. The more you stress about it, the longer it will take. So don't worry. I haven't called yet, but I imagine ours is still there too.

    Should I panic that NVC hasn't even start sending our file to USEM? We still have about 6 weeks before his interview but I'm a bit anxious that he goes in and don't have a folder to look at? Oh and what's up with NVC people not knowing the guidelines? Do they just work there to answer calls, ask MNL #, verify DOB and emails? Automated service could do that simple job! Sigh*

      Ok good. I noticed that also, that some are getting dates as early as Oct. 2nd. I think we're gonna wait for the letter before setting up the interview. She's worried about having enough time between letter and interview also. Also Monday is Labor Day here in U.S. So will Embassy be closed on Monday in Manila?? Just another delay.

      They still haven't sent yours? I called NVC on Friday and got our MNL#, but they didn't send ours either. They said to wait 2-3 days before calling the embassy to schedule the interview. Was Oct 25 the soonest available date they had?

    Oct 25 it is! Earliest interview date we could get but oh well. The rest will be in November now :)
