  1. TigerFlower your such a sweet person! and I'm cheering for you to get some funky chicken dancesque news this week!

I do not think I can do it, but I sure as hell would like to hear about how TigerFlower's chicken dance was!!

Please let us know as soon as it happens. I guess what I will say is a stretch, but we all might have more in common than we think going through all this together, so maybe a (re)union in the US could be a good idea for the future, even though all live in different states... I bet most of us imagine who are the people behind those posts and would like to meet them all in person... and possibly see lifelong friendships come out of it...

  2. All,

As you noticed by my last post, I have just been approved. I wish I would jump and scream like everybody else, but I suppose I will be the different one.

I cannot bring myself to it, for the simple fact that I do not feel like it would be fair to all the others who are waiting.

Yes, the feeling is something one cannot describe, but still I think I "literally" know what it is like to wait all this time and I think those waiting deserve some respect.

I will instead give you more information which can help you (or maybe not), but at least it is something.

As some of you know, I called again last week for the service request and finally got it through. I asked to talk to the supervisor and instead the lady told me she could give me a "2nd level" service agent which is what did the trick. we automatically ask for the supervisor, DO NOT ASK FOR THE SUPERVISOR, ASK FOR 2ND LEVEL!

Today I called again to see what happened with my service request since it has been a week, so the lady on the phone said there was no service request on her screen, so I asked for ths supervisor (stupid me again!), but she instead tole me she would give me the 2nd level agent who HAS MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPECIFIC FILES she told me.

The 2nd level agent confirmed that the 1st level does not have any information on the file and immediately found my service request. She said she could not comment on it because an answer was mailed to me on monday already.

Coincidence or not, 5 minutes later I enter the website and it is approved!!!!!

So, it is really hit and miss, but depending on who you speak with it might really make a difference, was it a coincidence?

I know nothing one can say will change anybody's situation, but all I can say to you is that I was there, 5 minutes ago, right there with you, and now I am out, so this is not something you read somewhere, you actually see the people getting approved, so take this into consideration when you are tired and depressed, because it really happens to all of us.

I do wish you all a quicker journey, and I feel even more for those behind us, from April, May, June, imagine what they will still have to go through?

I hope things will change so they donot have to go through this too.

    Best,

    Andrei

  3. wow....congratulations to you...

Why is everybody complaining that vermont is so slow.

We come from Cali service center....we would love to have visa approved in 6 1/2 months.

But we are looking at about 9 months...if we get lucky.

I am in VSC, it us taking us at least 8 months just for the NOA2 approval... CSC is approving NOA2 on average in at least half the time according to the trend... So i guess there is a lot to complain about... No matter what, none of us should have to go through this, not me, nt you, not any of us... Even 30 days is already an absurd to stop somebody's life, but then again... What can we do about it...

  4. Not to discourage anyone, but VSC already has a standard form at the ready that my congresswoman recently received, saying they will not expedite any petitions outside normal processing times. They know they'll have a bunch of angry people and have the Spin ready to send back. I'd love it if we all called at once and bombarded them.

The trick here is that they were not looking to expedite anything. They just wanted to know about the status on their case, and upon inquiry from their ongressman vsc realized they messed up in this case. Their case was approved but nobody knew, because vsc messed up, alL they needed was to raise the flag so someonewould see it, and it wored for them....

  5. You might want to read this...

Robert&Karina  My congressman told me that my K1 visa was approved on August 30th but USCIS lost track of everything until today. I lost 12 days time because of USCIS. If you are waiting more than 6 months for your NOA2 i would recommend calling your congressman to find out more information. Soon after my congressman called me this morning with the great news USCIS updated their website saying that my K1 was approved and is in post decision now.

  6. Nargie, your timeline of I-129F sent date is on the same day as me. Why your receipt date shows on USCIS is March 7 and not March 2? Did your fiance really sent it in on the 27th of Feb? We forgot the sent date, my fiance could have sent it before Feb 27, but I assumed Feb 27 as our sent date, maybe that's why our receipt date is 5 days different. Anyway, I really wish that you get approval without RFE very soon.

I sent feb 27th and my date is mar 7th too...

  7. Bored isn't the adjective I would use... Lol

Coincidentaly, mar 7th and mar 9th are the days before the 13th with the highest volume of petitions yet the lowest amount of approvals so far.... So one might think that statistically at least, for the 1st half or mar they are running out of other dates to approve... It is like roulette, the probability of other numbers other than 9 or 7 come out from now on must be somehow slim...

  8. Thank you so much for sharing your information, and your perseverance!

I think what is so frustrating, is the fact that it's not like we are simply waiting in line at the grocery store. These are days of our lives that are being stolen. They are days that we could be with our loved ones... living. Not waiting.

You have lifted my spirits today. Thank you (L)

Go figure... Like you said, in some cases like ours we actually lived together here in Miami, had a home and a life together, for years, and saw it all being taken away and saw lives being put on hold by a system, which treats human lives as if they were nothing... I sometimes try to imagine what is worst, the one wo stays at home, an empty home... Or the onewho goes and is prohibited from coming home every night for months on end...

  9. Hi all,

I have been reading all the posts and then there is all the delay, and the confusing information about dates and delays and service requests, so I wanted to give you my update from my call 5 minutes ago, since this might be of help to you.

I am definitely on my last breath as, as you can see, I am over 6 months now, so apart from the calls I have been placing every week by now, I placed another one 5 minutes ago.

Weeks ago I was receiving from them the usual "we are processing Feb 6th", then one day they gave me Feb 27th, then another day they gave me something like January, so completely random.

Last week Friday I called in anticipation of my 6th month mark, saying "I am in the 7th month now!!!!", reading the instructions from their own website about their policies and service request rights.

So I received the usual Feb 6th ####### and was told to wait another 21 days to call again.

I initially gave up as most of you have, after screaming at them, asking how they could treat their own citizens like this, but then I gathered the energy to call again 5 minutes ago.

The lady on the phone gave me now an astonishing "you are at minus 50 days, so you have to wait 50 days to open your service request!!!!".

HOWEVER, and I do hope this will bring light and hope into your lives, I asked her to speak to the higher authority if her system would not let it, then for my surprise I waited almost 10 minutes on the line when usually it takes a second to speak to a supervisor, so they can dispatch you immediately with the same bull.

Well, and here is the surprise. The guy who took the call did not sound like the usual "call center supervisor", he said he was an officer and everything changed. He was very kind and nice, and asked me for my address (which was never asked), and a lot of information about country and this and that, and then he said that he would open my service request in a second ?!?! (what??).

So this very nice person then looked it up and (hopes down)... his system said he could only do it in 30 days (usual "not allowed"), only that this time, he said: "you know what, I see your situation and I will find a way to help you". So by the time we finished the call he had placed the Service Request, and told me that I should wait in the Mail for an answer to my request.

For those wondering... "okay, what if I am not that lucky?"... he did tell me on the phone (and this was the first time I heard that), that it should be any day now anyway.

Well, I know this does not make you sleep any better at night, but I think it helps at least clarify all that is going on in there.

I am not even sure if this request will do anything at all anyway, they might just send me a letter saying "Wait some more!", however, I do hope you all have the same luck to at least get this guy on the phone instead of being treated sub-humanly as they have been treating all of us.

  10. AmazingLove thanks for the numbrs!!

    updated list

    (F):luv: have a great weekend ! :luv:(F)

Hi Nargie, Our number is on your list, we are march 7th sufferers, nr. 3827. What does your list mean? I am sorry for asking, i did not see the beginning of the thread so i am a little lost.

Does it mean they are actually working on ours?

At this point i already called VSC so many times and it is taking such a toll on us that i am not sure what to do anymore and i am not sure if any relationship can survive this service center. I already screamed at them, asked them why we are denied our rights for service requests, asked them why they ignore our rights denying providing even any information about our case, asked them why weare discriminated against if others are approved sooner, but i know nothing of this resolves hte issue unfortunatelly... It is just frustrating how people can have the right to control other peoples lives and fate, and how they so dearly disdain about what they are doing to us, denying us our rights and lying to us over and over again.
