  1. Most, if not all states, now require a PharmD in order to take the exam to become a Registered Pharmacist.

Whatever your degree, you will need to pay a service to evaluate and certify its US equivalence.

Yeah I read that but the question is...while I study for the test to get my american licence to be a pharmacist, what can I do,I mean, work meanwhile? I don't want to earn minimum wage though...but what can I do?

  2. Ok..so even if my degree is from Peru can I work as a pharmacist at Cvs until I take the tests and get the licence? I thought I d have to work as a technician cause of the licence.By the way thank you very much for taking your time answering my qs :)

  3. Mmmm thank you for your help! Well I didnt know anything about that. I was also checking that cvs pays the minimun wage, would be better to work at a hospital cause of that. Hospitals pay a little more So I can save money for the exams. Where can I find all the info about my degree?

  4. I was reading some info. I ll take the exam but first ill save money fornthe test. I was thinking, with my degree and experience I can do stg besides being a "cashier"lol....maybe working in n a hospital or in a private cl inic as an assistant or front desk...don't know if they will accept my foreign degree as education level. Anyway, they onlly ask for high school diploma and medical experience of some sort.what do u guys think?

  5. Hi! I am a pharmacist too but from Peru.I have just received my AOS confirmation and I know that I ll have to start looking for a job soon and I need help. As I told you I am a pharmacist and before coming to USA I stamped my degrees at the American embassy in my country so I could use them here(I dont know if they will work though). Also I have a masters degree in university education and I have been teaching English as a second language in Peru. I have certificates from Britan to prove my advance English level and work experience as a pharmacist and English teacher for 10 years. So can you give me some ideas of where or what to do? As many of you I don't want to earn the minimun wage cause I had good jobs in my hometown and move here cause of love :) so I'd be glad to receive any help. By the way I am 31years and living with my husband in Gainesville Georgia.

  7. What are you applying for? This is the K-1 Fiancee Visa section, but you are already married, so I assume you are applying for adjustment of status? Regarding the I-94, she should have received a white slip of paper stapled into her passport when she entered the country. That is the I-94. If you adjust status, you must also send in a copy of the I-94 with your documents.

There was NOTHING stapled to her passport. I've looked it over again and again and nothing. She also says that she doesnt recall anything even being stapled to her passport.

  8. My wife and I married in late December and are sending out the documents tomorrow but Im having problems finding the I-94 number.

There is a passport number, control number (14 digits with 3 zeros before the final digit), an A-number, and a red number beginning with

the letter F. Nothing else other than those and all the numbers printed at the bottom. Only handwritten number is the A-number (alien number)

    Help is you can. Thanks.

  9. thank you very much for your good wishes..ill tell you more less how was this last part of the process. Well first I didnt received the packet on time so i had to go to the embassy from 9 to 11am to get a copy of it. I Inmediately programmed the health exam which was for a week later and went to get my certificado penal y judicial, long queues but they give them in the moment.

The health exam was awful!not a nice secretary..I was ready for that cause i read some feedbacks here. The doctor asked me for my medical record and made a vaginal exam(which i didnt feel so comfortable with)then got my lungs xrays and blood test and waited 1week for the results.Everything was ready 2weeks before my interview. Got all the evidence I found and arrange it in files.

In the interview I was aked the same questions: where did you meet?and how many visits did my fiance make?was very fast and i was angry to see they only asked me for photos as evidence,I had receipt, emails, skype, skype pics, yahoo chats but nothing!!Finally they granted the visa...but i feel they made the decision before the interview, they were just confirming what they thought.Hope this can help you...

  12. Hi everybody! I want your help, on August 7th my fiance and I received the approval of the NOA2 on the USCIS website. then, 2 days later my fiance received the first mail explaining the process and the documents he needs to send me to Lima. Now 2 weeks have passed from the first mail, and I am still waiting for the second mail that I was supposed to receive with my case number and the process from there, health exams, police docs etc. How long do I have to wait to receive that package? Should I call the embassy in Lima to see if it has arrived there? How long will it take from the second package receiption until the interview? thk you very much!!
