Did you email them for the Packet 3? How long did it take to get a response? We're at about a week now since they've had the packet.

The Port-au-Prince embassy has the packet & I emailed them Monday, but still haven't gotten a response. I sent a follow-up email today asking for the Packet 3. We're ready to move as soon as they give the go-ahead.
Keeping our fingers crossed & our hands folded (in prayer).

Skyler and Silvia, I requested an expedite based on projected financial loss, since my school schedule is very strict & if I miss more than 2 days from any one class, will have to re-take the whole semester (costing about $10K). Had no idea if they would accept it, but they did! My packet was well organized & my request letter was around 3 pages long. I think that helped. Good ...

Tony&Diana, We did expedite. Everyone told me it wouldn't work, but it did. Just waiting for NVC to get their act together now... they put in the wrong birthdate, even though BOTH forms we sent had the correct DOB for my fiance. SO I emailed the scanned application to them & asked them to fix it (it's THEIR mistake! Why should I have to prove THEIR mistake?). We'll see h...

All Haitian applications are to be expedited according to the USCIS page. Took me 8 days.
