    Visa's in hand!!!

    Just wanted to let you all know that finally got visa's delivered at 11am today, got phone call yesterday to arrange delivery but with all the struggles people have had I didn't post for fear it would all go wrong lol. But.... they are here and I DON'T HAVE TO CANCEL MY WEDDING!!!!! getting married next saturday so buying tickets right this second to fly out 9am tomorrow morning :)
    I just want to thank everybody that has helped us along the way either with a kind word or by answering queries we have had. Your support has truly been invaluable <3
    Also praying for all the other people that have been waiting for so long after interview to receive their visa's xXx

    well, ceac told us it was 'ready' this whole time, then on thursday it went to 'AP' ... then friday 'ISSUED'
    I been calling the couriers since to see if they have got it but they don't, so praying they get it tomorrow and I get a call. They called me back and said its likely they will get it today or tomorrow so fingers crossed. I really really hope all you others get some news soon too, this wait is really unbearable, much worse then waiting for interviews or NOA2's in my opinion!

    oh god, really pray it gets worked out fast for you to make your flight. A lot of us sill waiting for visa's my interview was on the 5th august and my wedding is on september 14th and we are still waiting for ours to arrive too, we haven't booked flights though. Still panicking about making the wedding though :( 12 days and they are closed today! So frustrating :(
    I called DX this morning as I had had a missed call from an unknown number but it wasn't them, the lady on the phone was very helpful though.... infact I called twice because the first number i called (ending in 0000) the woman on the end of the line was VERY uninterested and practically yawning told me nothing really at all, so i trawled through another thread on here as I had remembered seeing another number for DX ending in 6666. When I called that number they were really helpful, mine is still not with them but she has put on my case its urgent so here's hoping!!

    issued.... they say its an error?!

    OK, so after 20 working days our ceac finally said issued this morning, but when we called DoS they tell us that it's an error :( WHY DO THEY PLAY WITH OUR EMOTIONS LIKE THIS!!! Only 14 days till our wedding now, can't take much more :( Still have to wait for delivery and then then book flights.
    Has anyone else been told this by them?!?

    Same here we have given up on calling. They have been no help for us. Ilovemypants-my fiancé said he saw a woman getting the same visa as him speaking to some other people so maybe it was you. Are you getting married in Michigan? He is quite tall at 6"1', kinda heavy, is only 21, dark brown hair and Scottish, maybe you saw him too? smile.png

    yeah marrying in my mans mums back garden in michigan :)

    I can't remember too much from that day, I was in such a state after in sheer panic thought i had been given the sealed envelope at the interview and had lost it somehow LOL but it turns out it gets delivered with your passport... well i hope it does anyways lol!! Wish I had of put a message out before the interview tried to meet up with anyone going the same day, would have been a comfort knowing others were in the same boat!

    Where's your wedding going to be, have you got it all planned now?!

    when my man calls DoS they tell him the status of the visa, just still in AP they saying for us and to just wait. If I call london embassy we get no help what so ever because we are a K visa they only help people for non immigrant visa's... most annoying! We have told them all the wedding is in 17 days they just say to wait and nothing more can be done :( My case updated today, both my number and the 3 kids numbers all updated but still stating 'ready for interview' GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
    please for the love of god will one of us limbo lot have some good news today!!!!
