Jut got my approval, too!!!

You guys I have a silly question!

I'm still waiting for my approval but I'm moving and have to change the address. Went to the USCIS website and started the process, but it asks me to select my form number.

My notice shows I751-CRI89. I selected the I751 but the system says it's not the correct form number accosted with my case but down the list theres no CRI89.

Any thoughts?

Can you confirm the date you sent your I-751 package is the 28th? We need the date you sent the package not when it was received by USCIS! Thanks in advance and good luck!

Hey guys, I have a quick and easy question for you.

I'm a bit confused about Part 2( other names used including maiden name) of the I-751, since I kept my maiden name and added my husband's last name too, by using a hyphen.

So in Part two, where it asks for the maiden name, do I just fill-in one of my two last names (in that case, my maiden which also appears to be one of my two new last names?).

I know it sounds silly but I want to be sure.

Also our attorneys were here in WA but not close to us. Everything we did, was through email (questions,concerns,info etc). We didn't face any problems throughout the K-1, AOS journey.

We had our AOS interview this morning and everything went well! We were approved on the spot, the process was relatively easy and the officer very professional. So happy to take a break from immigration even for a few months.

Got my combo card in the mail today. Never received a tracking number or the notice that my EAD and AP were approved (they said they sent out a mail on September 17th), just checked my mailbox this morning and the envelope was there.

My EAD has no tracking number either. It was approved on the 17th but sent out on the 23rd, so I assume that it will be delivered soon?

Also, my AP is still stuck on Post Decision Activity but from what I read here, it doesn't really matter since we'll be receiving the combo card.

Check back in a few days. The tracking number for the card will be there.

Hey guys, I found out today that my EAD has moved to card production. I was just wondering how or when I'll find out the tracking number. Will it appear at the status check page?

EAD & AP approved today!

NOA was July 18.

Just received notice that EAD and Travel approved, Card in production and to be mailed out. Exactly 61 days from the time we filed. Excitd!

Yay!! Congrats! It's so nice seeing things moving fast.

Αaahh, it's been 57 days since we got our NOA and I've been obsessively checking my status every day. Can't wait for EAD and AP to get approved. Good thing is, that a few July fillers with the same (or almost same) timeline with me, have already been approved, so that's something nice.

Got my AOS interview appointment for October 10th! Things are moving faster than I thought.

My I485 moved to Testing and Interview! No change on EAD and AP yet.

Our NOA1 was July 18.

Wow, we have identical timelines. Let's hope they keep it up to speed and hopefully we'll have our GCs by November!

Fingers crossed, although I'm more interested in receiving the EAD as soon as possible and start looking for a job!

Hello everyone!

I arrived in the US two and a half weeks ago and we got married 3 days ago. I was wondering if I can go apply for my SSN.

We haven't done any official name change yet and our lawyers just started working on the AOS papers and they probably won't send them off for another 2-3 weeks.

Can I go apply for the SSN? Does it matter that I'm going to apply after I got married? The process seems easy but I'm a bit confused.

Do I need to have my x-ray in my carry-on luggage at the POE or can I simply put it in my checked one?

I'm asking because it's not the most convenient thing to carry around for 20hours. I'm quite sure that the officers don't care about x-rays but only for the brown envelope but I'd like to hear your opinions.

Do I need to declare all the gadgets I'll be bringing with me? I'll be bringing my computer, DSLR camera, kindle, hard drive, phone, etc.
