Hi guys, when should we strart n400? We are nov 2011 filers. GC in hand already
hey guys, I just received email : Card production ordered. Approval date was today 08/30. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

One can only imagine what some of the attitudes would be like amongst the "workers", oooppps sorry I meant employees at the VSC.
I think VSC get more applications to process than CSC due to which they are always behind or maybe they have less staff than CSC, CSC is always ahead and takes less time to process cases.

I am still waiting. I see approvals for some whos filling date is later than mine. There were a lot of RFEs in the middle. Hope everyone hear good news soon.

I am also waiting. After reading some of the posts i think my supporting documents are not sufficient enough, the documents i send include: last three years joint tax returns and transcripts, most recent copies of joint back accounts, copies of joint credit card statements, 401 K insurance policies showing spouse as beneficiary, copy of our marriage certificate, copies of my passport and green card and also copy of the application fee cheque which has our names and same address as on these documents. after reading some posts i feel i should have include affidavits, pictures of us and lease documents. I hope i didnt get an RFE, because it will further delay the process.

Nope -- you're adding one too many steps. If you've received the extension letter, then you've already filed for ROC, and the next green card you receive will be a 10-year green card. There is no such thing (so far as I'm aware) as a one-year green card. The extension letter serves as a one-year green card in conjunction with your expired card.

Definitely be sure to take the original extension letter with you. Not having it with you will create headaches you could truly do without.
I have a question, my two year GC expired in 02/12 and currently i am waiting for my conditional GC, I have recieved the extension letter I 797C, but still waiting for the GC. now the GC i will be recieving would be for one year only ( the time when my last GC expired from 02/2012 to 02/2013) with the expiration date 02/2013. and then i will be eligible to apply for 10 year GC? I did not know about 10 year GC after i read some of the posts. Also when can i be eligible to apply for naturalization.

Thanks, I received card in the mail yesterday on 9/04/12. I am trying to update my timeline from pending removing conditions to approved but it didnt change. any suggestions how can i update that.
