Going for interview or not would be your call but you would not be eligible for the visa until the ban has expired.

Not your average story but here goes.

In 2000 I over stayed for 3 years.

In 2007 I tried to re enter the US but got refused.

In 2010 I married my long term GF who is a US citizen.

In 2011 I was allowed in to the US on a 1 time entry visa to go to my Father-in-law's funeral, they told me it was for humanitarian reasons and that a ban was in place. They said after the ban (2014) I would need to apply every time for a tourist visa through the embassy

Today I was offered an interview for a company in Ireland who said the position would involve extensive travel to the US and possibly even a relocation.

Will my previous history and ban mean I can't be sent to the US by a company? Is it even worth going to the interview?
