After 7months of a long wait, my Lovely Wife finally received her welcome to US letter. It's a big relief to know that she doesn't have to deal with uscis for 21 months. Good luck to everyone.

You are not alone.

I'm January 28 filer and I just talked to tier 2. He put in a service request because my AOS is 4 days outside processing time. And he also said that my case was transferred to my local office on Friday..
-
I filed my wife's AOS petition on 01/28/2013 and 6 months later the case is still not available online.

If the uscis didn't approve the adoption before it was finalized, I guarantee you that the child will need I-130 filed on his behalf before he qualifies for CCA 2000.
-
I'd advice you to read the CCA 2000 very carefully. There are three differcent adoptions (Hague, non Hague and local). I don't know which one of those three options you chose but if it's not one of the first two then you are certainly going to have to file I-130. I have adopted two children in the last three years.

If you adopted your stepchild without using forms I-600 or I-800 then the child has to live with you two years after the adoption before he can qualify for CCA 2000.

You are absolutely right. It seems to me that uscis is one of the most dysfunctional agencies of the US government. I'm baffled how uscis decides which petitions stay at nbc for interview waivers.
-
If we think uscis is broken, wait until the us congress pass the new immigration reform
-
Does anyone know how uscis makes a determination about which petitions stay at nbc?

I still can't see my AOS online. I had my bio two months ago.

You are not alone. I filed on January 28th and I'm still not able to see my case status online

I'm trying to find out if I'm eligible to apply for naturalization 90 days from the 3 yr anniversary of my 2 year conditional green card??? Or is it 90 days from 3 yr anniversary of the 10 year green card? Or, will the issue date on both cards be the same?
I haven't gotten my 10 year yet. I'm married to a US citizen.

After 6.5 of brutal torture, my petition has finally been approved.
-
There were nine petitions in my stack. Three had rfe and 5 were approved. I was the only one left out in the cold.

If uscis was a private company, it'd have been out of business by now.

Your fiance is lying to you. There is no way someone can submit an application in March and receive no1 that has August date on it.

It means your wife and stepdaughter GC have been approved. You'll receive two letters welcoming them to permanent status in the USA and five days later, they'll receive their GC.
