Called DOS this morning and they changed our interview date to July 9th UGH!!! I guess you learn the hard way sometimes, they just mailed packet 4 this week. I should have waited until i knew they had sent the packet out to be sure but I was so excited that I made all the arrangements right away!! I guess the $200 flight change fee is just a small price to pay to finally be with my man

Haven't received Packet 4 yet. My fiance works in Bavaro and is going home to the capital tomorrow for his days off so he will try to track it down when he gets there. I'm getting worried because I've already made travel arrangements that can't be changed not to mention I'm so ready for this process to be over!!! I'll keep you posted, going to call DOS in the morning but thought I would put it out here to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

Hello fellow VJers!!

A few weeks ago I contacted the DOS after my approved I129f package reached the embassy in the Dominican Republic and the women on the phone gave me our interview date and time, June 27th @ 6:45am. Tonight I checked the website to see if the June appointments were up, they were buy my case number did not show up when doing a search. I started to freak out and checked all 97 pages for our case number...not there. Should I be worried??

you can have the children follow to join after he is here, but you have to list their names on the I-129F even if they're not coming with him now, because they will use this letter to get their medical exams and vaccines whenever you're ready to file for them to come within a year of the K1 visa being issued. If you plan on waiting more than a year then you will have to file seperately.

Did you go to the DR for your fiance's interview, does it matter or make a difference one way or another if I'm there??

My fiance has two children that will not be coming with him right away, but will once he's here and were settled and he can work. Is it wise for us to apply for there visa's at the same time as the K-1 or can we apply for them seperatly once he's here and his AOS has been approved?
