  1. My interview was on December 4th, 2012 at the Embassy in London and my visa was approved with no complications. It's now 9 working days after the interview and my visa still hasn't been issued, or at least the courier company does not have my passport when I try to track it online. How long have other people who attended their interview in London had to wait for their passport to be returned to them?

I've called the Embassy a few times and they've advised that they can do nothing until their recommended time of issuance is fulfilled (7-10 working days) so I have to wait until after that before I can properly chase it. Has anyone else had to wait longer than 10 days? Any advice and experiences would be a comfort.

    Thanks!

  2. Randomly, I decided to check the USCIS website just before bed and there it was - Post Decision Activity! I was dubious about posting this when there are loads of you still waiting and I know how hard it is to check and check again and see no change, but I hope my approval gives you at least a little glimmer of hope that things are beginning to move at VSC. Lots of luck for all of you still waiting and my fingers are crossed that the approvals start flooding out really soon! From someone who has just found it, the waiting is totally worth it.

  3. I'm just shy of 180 days but that's pretty much in line with what appears to be happening at VSC, give or take a few weeks. Perhaps calling them to chase will help but if they're struggling to keep up then I'd imagine the extra work involved in servicing your request will only make things even slower in the long run. I'd just wait, it'll come in good time but know I feel your frustration.

  4. I'm a bit confused about this as well. As far as I'm aware, as I live in the UK I will have to go down to London for this medical and I've read that this needs to be before the interview. Once you receive your NOA2, can you book your medical straight after that or do you just wait? Train tickets are expensive so just trying to book ahead as much as I can. Thank you!
