We got an e-mail first--then a letter came in the mail. Hope that helps!

Any thoughts on how long it takes for DHL to update their website? I spoke with a rep at NVC today and she said it "shipped" yesterday. I realize that might just mean it's been put in another bin, but thought I'd see if anyone has any knowledge on this. Thanks! -A

This is great! Thanks for putting it together! Fingers crossed for VSC folks that it continues to pick up.
Wedding and Work related question.
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
Hello. My advice is to do whatever you think is best. I knew in my heart I wanted to have the wedding I dreamed of and that was not at the courthouse (not that there is anything wrong with that--I know that the important thing is the fact that you're joining your lives). I wanted to get married in the church I grew up in and have a wonderful party with all of our family and friends in attendance. We were very blessed with our timeline, so blessed. We started working with our vendors about 7 months before our wedding, and a few weeks after we submitted our K-1 paperwork. We had incredibly flexible vendors and ended up changing our date 3 times! Get everything in writing--and work with vendors who won't charge you to change the date. We sent out our wedding invitations as soon as he was approved for his visa and got married once he'd been in the states about 2 months. Everything was just as I dreamed it would be.
It is possible. It's a lot of work, a ton of planning, and a lot of prayer---but you can do it! Our wedding video below is proof. Best of luck to you! -Ashley
