In our situation, we are filed for a K-1 and are doing all of the required paperwork to get his daughter's visa now. Yes, that means paying the fee, getting her passport and her medical (which is good for one year). We found out that the visa will be good for 6 months, so we are looking at her spring and summer break dates. If visa is estimated to expire while she is on spring break we will have her visit at least once. This way it will look good that she came and returns without issu...
