Long APs of weeks to months are not unusual in the MENA consulates, even when there are no giant red flags with the case. 1-3 months is not really uncommon. And Abu Dhabi is not known as one of the more difficult consulates such as Casa.
Did you address the withdrawal of the petition, or did they ask questions about it in your interview ? I am sure they will want to take a good hard look at that. Did you submit plenty of evidence showing the viability of your relationship after the withdrawal - proof of regular communication, etc. ? Do you have evidence to show mingling of finances - joint bank accounts, joint tax returns, joint insurance policies, property held jointly, etc. ?
Also, have you visited each other since the withdrawal ?
These all would probably be things that the consulate would be interested in, and needs time to look at.
One more thing - what is your country of origin - is it Abu Dhabi, or another country ? It's possible that this could also affect your length of AR.
