I forgot to add car title, pictures and affidavits from friends, post cards from family

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding documents we are going to send to remove conditions on my 2 year green card. Everything is on both our names (taxes, rent agreement, health insurance, joint account, car insurance, receipts from a recent trip)except Internet and electric bills. How important are those?

Is she officially married? because it can be that she has no one in kyrgyzstan and they assume she will jsut stay in the US because her daughter (you) is there. Also, she needs to have a wellpaid job that she worked for about 3 years at least ( this is what counsil told me when i tried to get my visitor visa, she said if you were married and/or had a job for at least 2-3 years, i would give you visa, but there is no guarantee you ll ome back casue there is nothing in your country that holds you, this is pretty much what she said to me).
Thanks for your reply.
Well she is not married and is getting married any time soon ((
However, she has been working for the same company for over 20 years.
I don't want else I can do in this case. I woul like to invite her next year. But nothing major will change in her social or economic life.
-
So it is pretty much impossible to get her visit us?!
That is just so unfair that some people get visas and they do stay illegally.
But people who want just to visit their families are denied.
-
Actually what happened was in the online application we put she was sponsoring her trip, but in the invitation letter I put we were going to provide for her stay.
Sorry guys just trying to figure out (((
-
Is it possible she got denied because she wanted to sponsor herself but didn't have a bank statement?
-
Thanks, that's what I thought too.
But I don't know how else she can prove that she will return.
She doesn't have any intention to stay illegally whatsoever.
Could you recommend any documents that can possible help?

US Bank also refused to add me to my husband's account. they said I have to have a state id.
-
That's strange, because I have my SSN, and they still want me to have a state id or military id.
We live in Georgia and the bank of my husband also don't wanted to accept me, because I don't have my SSN yet. But the Bank of America accepped me without it. There we could open a joint account.
Thanks!
He can link you to his account by creating a sub account. I am not sure but American Express has this serivce call "bluebird".
here is the link
https://www.bluebird.com/I already have my SSN, and I have my EAD card, so now I can easily get a state ID?
You have your EAD, so go get a SSN and state ID. Then you'll have no issues at the bank.
-
I live in Bethel Alaska, and the bank is US Bank.
I guess the best option is to get a state id.
Thanks guys for your replies.

My husband wanted to add me to his bank account. But the bank refuses to do so, because I don't have a state id. What to do? We have an interview soon and I need it to be done as soon as possible.

yea, I got an appointment for biometrics, but on the website it still says card production for EAD/AP. I called them and they said that they have no idea why it is like this.
Any updates on this?

I already have my NOA1 for both GC and EAD/AP. I didn't get any tracking number though, so I believe it is just a notice for biometrics. But when I check my case status, for GC and EAD/AP it says card/document production. So that's y I am a little bit confused.
It might be the EAD/AP card that is in production. The confirmation number for the EAD was different than the confirmation number for the AOS--that number will be on the bio appointment letter--when we when thru this process. You currently have two applications being processed--1) the AOS for the GC and 2) the EAD/AP application. You should see the status change to mailed the card and then you should be able to get a USPS tracking number. My wife's EAD/AP took 46 days, but we had an issue with the NOA1 for the EAD/AP as the letter carrier sent it back because her name was not on the mailbox, but the regular carried delivered the NOA1 for the AOS and the bio letter. So you should receive an NOA1 for the AOS and another for the EAD/AP and then the bio letter for the AOS.
Good luck,
Dave
I did, it says card/ document production. When I called USCIS, a lady gave me a confirmation number for GC. And I don't know what to do with this number. Is it a number for biometrics?
If it's for the I-485, it should be the GC. You need to verify based on receipt number via USCIS login.

Hey guys,
Yesterday I checked the USCIS website and it says :
Your Case Status:
Card/ Document ProductionOn December 23, 2013 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. I called them and they gave a confirmation number for my I-485 application. So what does it mean? Am I getting a green card or it is just a notice for biometrics?
I haven't done my fingerprints yet.
Maybe someone has a similar situation, please share ur thoughts or experiences
Best regards
Olga

thanks folks for your responses, I really appreciate that!
-
oh ok. So maybe I should call the USCIS?
-
yes I did send G-1145, I thought that a purpose of that form is to get an electronic notification of the acceptance of my petition as soon as they would receive my whole package, isn't it?
-
Hey guys,
I still haven't gotten any notification from USCIS. This is what we have done: our I-485 package sent to USCIS on Nov 20th. The package was delivered on Nov 23rd. USCIS cashed our check on Dec 5th. They even didn't send me a notification that they accepted my application. Should I be worried?
Thanks in advance for your answers,
Olga

Thank you Happy Chic! I am a little worried about that. For us it is not a big deal on what name the bills are. Other important things have our both names. I don't know how much they care about the bills.
