WON'T RETURN EXPIRED PASSPORT WITH VALID US VISA. My fiance is from Algeria. He is trying to renew his passport (which expires next month). He was told at the local office of his town that they could not give him back his old passport. I don't believe that they made any suggestion on what he could do. Is this correct that my fiance will not be able to retrieve his old passport with the valid visa? I read somewhere they one can travel with 2 passport (new & expired w/valid visa)......

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me...I received the approved I-129F dated 4/19/2013 I thought 4 months would be enough time for my fiance and I to prepare but because of our ill-planning, work & home life, Ramadan, etc. well, the approved petition will be expiring in the next few days. 8/18/2013. got a text message saying that on April 19th...my alien registration number relating to my I-129F has changed. What does this mean? I checked the forum for this topic but people had different responses...and knowing that I probably can not talk to any USCIS rep. to find out because there office is closed during the weekend, will really stress me out & worry me. If it is a RFE, would it not mention it right away in the message? And wy is it an update when my case is still under "initia...

Hello! I am an August filer (@CSC), is it safe to say that since I've been waiting for my second notice of action (NOA2) that may case will either be approved or be sent a RFE rather than a denial at this point in the process?

hi! no net yet...I am on pins & needles...nervous of the outcome because I wil be receiving it any time soon...don t know what I will do if the result is negative...for sure I will cry...I am so anxious
