I have a flight on Monday, with American airlines operated by American eagle, in what counter (ticket window) will I have to go, American airline or American Eagle, silly question, but I'm a specialist of managing little little details (lol).

It depends where are you flying out of? Truly it doesn't matter anyway, American and American Eagle are one in the same except for the types of aircraft they fly.

I appreciate all the support. We'll get through this. I always think positive and just chock this up to "everything happens for a reason". I told my fiancee if she has to wait the two months, I'll take a trip to the Philippines mid-January. That perked her up. We haven't seen each other (at least in person) for the last 6 months. It will be my third trip there within the last 10 months. Twist my arm. Not a fan of the cost of the ticket, but I love the Philippines. It all works out in the end.

Chelliot, sorry to hear that. I guess we're in the same boat. Our interview was set for December 21st. It was so tough to cancel it; I could barely bring myself to do it. Glad to see someone on here also living in the Boston area.

I knew something was wrong when my fiancee' sent me message so fast after returning to St. Luke's today. X-ray appears to have shown something so consequently she will have to undergo a sputum test. Needless to say it looks like we'll have to wait an extra two months for the tests. Words cannot even describe how I feel right now, but I feel worse for her since she's dealing with this all on her own 9000 miles away from me.

Does anyone have any history with retrieving or know how to apply for a Criminal History Certificate from Taiwan? More specifically from the city of Taichung? My fiancee worked there for some years up until 2008. She was smart in getting her criminal history certificate a few weeks before leaving Taiwan in 2008, but I'm not certain the certificate will be accepted because of how long ago it was processed. Any thoughts or experiences with this? Thanks in advance for your help.

BTW we did find the online site for the Taichung Police department, but the link is dead to apply for the certificate. I told her she should also call the Police department directly to find out more info. Phone : 886 - 4 - 23289100

the cheapest rite now is orbitz, has anyone bought ticket from them.

I buy on orbitz all the time especially for work. Never had an issue with them. In fact my last trip to the philippines back in late June/July on Philippine Airlines was purchased through Orbitz.

I've been lucky to have visited her in March and then late June into July. If VSC continues at this snail pace, I may go back in mid to late January or February. Fingers crossed that she may be on her way here by then though. Skype is certainly a savior and I agree about the good communication aspect of a relationship. Every day that passes we learn more and more about each other.
