hi..got interviewed last nov 28 after the 2 month sputum culture is done..finally i got my visa just now...my concern is that i do have an annotation on my visa which states that "212(g)(2)(B), CLASS A or B (TB) req. ATTN. of USPHS at POE"..what does this mean?kindly pls explain for those who have experience with this or who knows anything about this..pls..thanx...

Congratulations! Did you schedule yourself? Or did St. Luke's scheduled you?

st. lukes will be the one to set the appointment for you..as long as there's an available slot..

FOLLOW UP ON MY POST:

I called SLMEC 1 day after the 8th week of my culture and that was on nov 23,and luckily it was all negative.then got my immunization on nov 26 then got the interview date at nov 28 6:30 am..and finally got my visa approved at the 28th..God is good..now i am just waiting for my visa to be delivered..thanks fellow VJ'ers for all ur responds and help..GOODLUCK and GODBLESS to all of us..

my sputum culture will be ok this coming november 22,so far no call from slec..so meaning im still going ok as negative from tb..my question is,what happens after that?i was scheduled to call them on nov. 27,would it be possible that i can take the immunization right away on that date (nov 27)?usualy how many days b4 they schedule the visa interview after the immunization?hope that i can hear a response from you guys..thanx

yep, nagpa-medical na ako nung july pa..then i had to undergo sputum culture. next week ko kukunin result ko sa st. luke's..sana negative kasi di naman ako tinawagan earlier. tawagin mo na lang ako sa pangalang Ligaya..joke! pero totoo, same meaning ng ligaya ang name ko. ;-)

bakit ka po nag undergo ng sputum?ako din sa monday pamedical ako miss "ligaya"?

guys,after the medical exam would they keep your passport at the medical center?what should you present at the embassy then during your interview appointment if they will take your passport at the medical exam?

They didn't tell me anything yet just said i had an elavated bp! Me and my kids arrived 8 a.m but finished 4 cuz we are 5 in all and there were lots of people to undergo medical that day! We get our result tom..Hopefully everything is alright!

Hope not cause I had my medical yesterday and I have 130/90 bp! The nurse that took my vital signs said it is a little bit high for me...

but did they tell you that it can affect your visa application?so how's your medical?what time did u arrived at st. lukes and what time u finished?thnx

As a nurse I would say no not at all... That is normal blood pressure. I doubt that is the reason of the delay...It could just be its taking some time...

thnx for that reply..so u mean im not yet at risk of a highblood pressure?i've been doing jogging for 3 weeks for an hour daily now,and also eating lots of fruits and vegetables..i lost 10pounds..so do u think i dont need any medication as long as i continue doing thiss stuff?coz my medical would be this coming sept 24 and im afraid that could affect my result..thnx

my case was completed last august 9...

just called yesterday at the NVC and appointment letter just received today...thanks God..keep praying guys and everything will be fine...

Ahh I am going out of my mine right now, we completed case on 1/08/2012 (1st of Aug for any of you Americans reading ) and were so sure we would get an interview assigned for this month, when we realised that wasnt going to happen we thought for sure next month (somewhere my husband has read it was this week they assign interviews for October) as it is Friday in NZ and we have heard nothing...I've lost hope it will be in October so now I am thinking the earliest is November...Basically I just wanted to know if anyone in New Zealand has been given an interview time yet for October, I mean is it normal to take this long. I really am unsure :S
