How about you guys? What's the haps?

Im super nervous and anxious about getting a no due to two things that are so far out of my control right now. Oh and we thought the NVC sent my file to the consulate cos the consulate requested the file urgently. Well turns out they only got the USCIS stuff, because they didn't have everything else in order at that stage. So I have to get copies off to the consulate urgently. Ugh.

Hey Heather, it seems you all maybe a little ahead of us? We have sent everything to the NVC, but as yet no word on whether they have begun to review it all yet.We know they signed for all the documents?the rest is a mystery. Everything has gone relatively well thus far -touchwood, no real hiccups. Hopefully its plain sailing from here on out, and that we ALL get those approvals by 2012 end?

I would bet your wealth of knowledge and experience would be invaluable. Anyway I don't know if your the USC or the kiwi but I'd love to know of your experiences with the American consulate in nz, were they gentle and helpful? Gosh I hope the answer is yes. Hey, thanks so much for the very welcomed reply. I didn't really have specific questions in mind at this stage but I couldn't help but notice on ur timeline how quickly it appeared to move along. I imagine it may not have seemed that way when you were going through it? But it gave me hope and honestly I just thought having a pal on here to check in with would be priceless.
