    We were put on AP... :/ and were given a 221g form. Which says he needs to update his passport. We recieved all of our original documents. They also kept his passport. :) hopefully this is a good sign.

      why did he give them his expiring passport? when they ask you for the passport, it says that it must have 6 months remaining. i guess he made the mistake. but have him send it ASAP

    My wife visa was approved. We are very happy. I didn't go with my wife to the embassy, eventhought i was outside the embassy.

      they said she will get it in 14 days, but it might be in 7 days i think

    I believe they are just playing games with me at this point. There requests are ridiculous, and I have involved my congressman.

      what are they requests? and which congressman you have involved now. some time it is good idea to also contact your other congressman or woman.

      you will be allowed to go with him, if you are a US Citizen. As a US Citizen, you are allowed to go to US Embassy anytime you want. they will not stop you. But if you are green card holder then you might not be allowed to go. I am US citizen and i will be going with my wife.

      I think it will be a good idea, because then you can answer some of the stuff that your husband might not be able to answer and maybe he will feel more comfortable that you are there. Also, the person intervie...

      how long did you wait for the interview? when did you send your DS230? my case was completed on october 22, and got the same interview date as you.

    5 months since I received NOA1 and still awaiting....today i called uscis and per representative, vermont service center is currently processing 02/27/12 applications and to wait 10 days before calling again to place request.......just feeling sad....

      I am sorry to hear this. I hope you get an approval soon. when you called them, did you ask if the can actually check your case, or they just told you to call back in 10 days. i feel they are just lying that they processing 2/27/12 right now. Because as you can see in the timeline, most people from march are already approved, some even in the 20s.
