Hi everyone, i'm are confused with something here. Yesterday the i485 status said Card Production, and that i should allow 30days for the card to be mailed him, and today it changed back to Decision, and the i130 to post decision. And on the Description it says, something like, "We Mailed you a notice that we had registered this Customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new card should be mailed within 60days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing refered to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.
Is this something normal? please advice. thanks

Hi Dear Members, Should my co-sponsor (for adjustment of status from student to Green Card) add me as a dependant when he file his tax?
-
ok dear members, i received the copy of the Green Card from our joint sponsor, the text is clear, but the facial picture is not all that clear, i think thats the nature of the green card, as the picture is not as clear even from the original. So my question is, can i just go ahead and send that, or do i have him scan it then print it?
-
The I-551 is the greencard
So yes, just copy it. They don't want you to send the actual greencard.
Oh i know that all they need is the copy, thanks.
-
Unless I'm mistaken, those are the same thing. A copy of the greencard should be fine.
I don't know about the form i-551 but i would think a copy of both side of the Green Card should be enough but am not sure so i thought i ask.

hi everyone, Reading the i864 instructions (page 6 # 19(Citizenship/Residency) Paragraph 3- proof of Permanent residency), Will just a copy of the Joint Sponsor's Green Card be enough for a proof of status or we also need to send the form i-551, Alien Registration Receipt Card/Permanent Resident Card too?
Thanks

Hi beautiful members,
first of, i wanna take the time to thank everyone for the guide through our filing process. We got through the mail 3 Official Receipt Notices (form i-797) saying our packages have been received and routed to the National Benefits Center.
So i guess we expecting to receive a schedule for finger prints. But we have a issue at hand, Our Roommate is being a born-head lately. And we looking into moving to our own apartment. But first i wanna know if a Change of Address will slow our process, and how long does it take for USCIS update your new address? Any ideas?
thanks again

You can sign and send the same form back with the printed stuff on the side.
Are you also missing a copy of the I-94 and the other items mentioned?
Your money orders are fine.
Yes i did re-arrange everything and ready to go to the usps. Hopefully nothing goes wrong again.
Question:- Will change in my current annual income on form i864 cause a problem? , since they printed stuff on the side does it mean they had the previous annual income in their system? I made some changes in my current annual income because after my first schedule i realised i'm given full-time job instead of part-time, so meaning my annual income goes higher than what i stated in the first package.

Oh ok. no we sent everything else stated in the both the VJ and uscis.gov instructions.
My other question is though. USCIS printed some gray long numbering on the sides of most of the forms, do i still send back same forms, or repring everything?

Hi beautiful members of VJ.
We just received a package from USCIS a week after we sent our package. Inside it was our forms we filled, all 3 Personal money orders for the fees, 1 $1000.00 (because we were told thats the limit for each personal money order), 1 $70 ( to complete that $1070 fee for form i485), and 1 $420 for the I130 from.
Also in the Package we show 3 Form I-797C, Notice of Action, 2 written to Beneficiary and 1 to Petitioner.
The first one is attached in the following order: form i-797c, I-485, a green letter stating in the first paragraph: "Dear Applicant, We are sorry to inform you that we have rejected your application for the reasons indicated on the I-797 Reject Notice" , G-325A signed by beneficiary, Copy of I94, and copy of passport.
the second one attached to form I-130, G-325A signed by Petitioner and petitioner's Birth Certificate. And the third one, attached to form I765.
But all 2 i-797c Notice of Action written to Beneficiary stated same thing i.e " The Principal application could not be accepted for the reason(s) specified on the related Notice of Action (form i-797). Therefore the processing of all riding applications cannot continue".
And the only and 3rd Notice of Action (form i797c) Stated that i signed the wrong spot on the i130, as the only reason. This was because i signed on the "signature of person preparing" instead of signature of petitioner (i130 Section F instead of E).
My Question is:-
-Is it normal that USCIS returned a whole application Package because of a Signature made on the wrong spot?
-Why They sent 3 Notice of Action when there is just one reason? and its on only one of them (i797). Unless there is more that we didn't know about?
- And is our personal money Orders correct as listed above?
Please Urgent advice is needed.

hi Everyone, how long does it take USCIS to approve change of address?
-
lol ok i will... thanks
-
thanks y'all for your advice. We ended up putting both in one large USPS envelop with the 2 packages (i485 & i130 ) separated with paper clips. i Tracked the package and it says its delivered last saturday morning but we did receive any notification from USCIS yet, do they notify rightaway of after a couple days? My concern is though, based on the time pressure, we didn't get to make a cover letter for i485, but did for i130. Would this be a problem?
-
Hi beautiful members, we have gathered all the necessary Documents and ready to send them off finally to the USCIS. But there is one main question i need an urgent answer to before i fill my petition. Do we pack the documents for I130 & i485 in separate Envelops or all in one main envelop?
Please advice.
thanks

ok thanks.
Another important question, in connection to my first question at the begining of this topic. i just got hired in for a job and i'm starting next week Tuesday.
Should i add my new job in the forms? if Yes, Could the package be send without pay stubs from my new job? since i didnt start yet therefore no paystub. We really don't wanna wait for another 2 weeks for my new paystub.
-
ok thanks. how do i find the address to send our package to from the uscis site, anybody with a link?
-
You can file the petition. The joint sponsor will need a more current I-864 when it is time to submit it.
ok, does that mean the co-sponsor have to add me (the USC) as part of the ppl he sponsoring? since i currently dont have a job. or he is still sponsoring just my husband(the immigrant)?

Hi Everyone, I have had of this site and the beautiful ppl n d good help y'all give to ppl. Well I have an i864 related question so I decided to post it in this forum. I got married with my husband who is on f1 visa, 6months ago and we r still together n happily. we wr not able to file for him since then because we have been through lots of financial problems. Now we gat enough money, I wanna petition him before the money goes away:). But, we just moved to a new location and I didn't get a job get, I have my previous year tax returns, I didn't make enough over d years but his cousin agreed to co-sponsor him (my husband).
But my question is:-
1. Can we go ahead and file even without me having a job at current since his cousin is co-sponsoring him?
2. His cousin signed the i864 3months ago, does he ( the co-sponsor) need to sign a new form?
I look forward to your sincere advices. Thanks
