So here we go, I am sending them:
1. Renewed IDs
2. New apartment lease
3. Life insurance details
3. Car insurance summary valid from Dec 2014 until Dec 2015
4. Phone bills of a voice line with both our names on it from Dec 2014 until now
5. Bank statements with both our names on it from Dec 2014 until now
6. Joint tax return for 2014 plus w2 from 2013 (that I forgot to send the first time) and 2014
Do you guys think I need to add anything?
I'd add another letter from a friend. No need to notarize it.. just attach that friend's ID to the letter. I did it with 2 people and never received and RFE. USCIS just want to see that this is a real person and that you didnt make this letter up.
Also, go to your local bank where they know you (and your wife) personally and ask them to write a letter and sign it. The letter should mention the names on the account, the standing of the account (hopefully yours is in good standing) and also it should list the name of the banker that wrote with letter and it should say that they (uscis) can reach him/her at his/her number at anytime.
other ideas: gym membership, letter from landlord where you live.
Good Luck!

Yes I think affective date plays a big role. They don't want you to do things like life insurance or car insurance just for the purpose of passing the ROC process... IMO it might be even better if you don;t show it to them bc it's too obvious you've done it just for the ROC.

For you to get update do u have to sign up for your case
yea go here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and sign up
-
Congrats!
Did you receive an email or a text about the update?
First I checked myself at around 7:15pm and it was already updated (at 6pm it still was not). Then I received an email at 9pm. This morning at 5am i received a text message with the same update. my tip to you fellas, don't bother checking the status 20 times a day because they WILL notify you pretty much right away.

I got the "New card is being produced" update last night. It said that my case was reviewed on 9/11. It doesn't actually say "approved" anywhere... but only says new card produced.
I am really happy to be done with it and am looking forward to December to file for citizenship and then never ever hear from or deal with immigration ever again.
Good luck to all the ones who received FRE's, don't panic and follow their instructions... I'm sure it's a matter of a week or two.

How do I do that in PA?
On my RFE they didn't ask for the transcripts they said that I was just missing the W2 forms and the taxes from 2014.
I think you and your wife should go to your local DMV and ask the clerk to add her to your vehicle title... but the problem is you will receive the new title with both of your names on it only in like 2 months which you don't have. Maybe the clerk at the DMV can give you some kind of proof that your wife has been added to the title.

So my wife doesn't have a driving license so she can't be on the car insurance or buy a car with me. Also we never bought any property and don't have any loans.
you can add your wise to the vehicle title even if she doesn't have DL. She doesn't have to have DL in order to own a vehicle. She can also be added to the insurance card as a non driver. good luck!

I had 401k plan when I worked for comcast and my wife is a beneficiary I think I can get the transcripts for that. I honestly think I got this RFE because of the 2014 tax return, it says it on the notice that I just sent the 2013 tax return and it wasn't enough and in edition they said that I should send more documentation to support the marriage.
Does anyone here has fidelity 401k plan? Do you know how to get that info online?
I monitor my 401k through www.verisightgroup.com. If you have the same 401k provider you can create an account online and make changes to your 401k plan and add/change beneficiaries. When I submitted my ROC package I simply printed a print screen from verisight.

Ok so our transfer letters mentioned something about 15 days express handling. The first approval on here was on 8/28 so lets assume the CA guys started working on our cases on that day. Today is 9/10 which is 9 business days since 8/28. This means they have until 9/18 to inform all of us of our case status. So in worst case scenario all of us should hear something from CA no later than next Friday.... unless I'm missing something
-
Congrats to all the approvals!
Here is the break down:
8/28 - 1 approved
8/29 - 1 approved
8/31 - 2 approved
9/1 - 1 approved
9/2 - 3 approved
Total 8 approved in 5 days. Given there are probably more cases of people who don't know about this forum, i think they are moving in a good pace. And most importantly not a single RFE!
It's been hard to focus on other things those last couple of days but i'm sure good news are to come soon!

I like what I observe here, so far no FRE's, I hope these guys in CA want to be done with us just as much as we do with them )

I just called the the 866 number (premium processing) that appears at the bottom of the letters we received, the automated voice asked me to enter my receipt number which I did. Then the same voice said something like "we are sorry but this number is exclusively for filers who filed I-907 form". Though the letter clearly says we can contact this number for inquiries.... weird.
Thats fine though... after waiting for nearly 9 months, 15 days feels like 5 minutes

What upsets me the most is goshhh we pay so much money for these applications. I mean if i'm not mistaken the ROC cost us $680... i doubt it takes more that 30 minutes to review each application which makes it almost $1400/hour of net labor. Is it really that hard to hire more people and get it over with especially when they have all this money (money we paid) to pay wages.
sigh..

I got 2 identical emails
-
i doubt all 5 of us will be called for an interview. I want to believe our cases are headed to CA. This forum is great, I got such a relief once I saw there were other people

Hello I am a January filler (package sent 12/28, NOA 1/2). I just received am email saying
Case Transferred And New Office Has JurisdictionWhat does that mean? Is my case in CA now? Is it in my local office?
Thanks

There is no restrictions on my card.
I am pretty sue every SS card based on conditional GC has the "DHS" restriction. Mine says "valid only with DHS authorization".

Read the instructions for employment eligibility verification Form I-9. The only thing that should be needed is a drivers license and social security card. The employer can not specify a certain document like a green card for verification. It says nothing about being a citizen for these things. only that you need a document from list B and a document from list C.
I thought when you got your social security card that makes you eligible for work. Did you other guys show your drivers license and ss card? I don't know what my wife showed when she got hired maybe she just showed her green card and that is the reason for the re-verification I don't know for sure.
I think you are correct and SS card can be used for that matter HOWEVER it's the case ONLY if your SS card has no restrictions on it. Not relevant in our case....

Do you guys think they send less RFE's due to the enormous work load they have at Vermont office? I hope that's the case and we won't see straight forward cases called for interviews and receive RFE's

Just a quick update:
I got impatient and called KCC today. The representative I talked to said we can go ahead an submit now, and when the baby is born we should send them an email and they will then unlock our DS-260 applications so we can add her plus edit our own to declare that we have a child.
Oh,and she said the interviews will start in October.
Hope the above info will be helpful to others in our situation.
Hello I know it's been exactly one year but I have the exact same situation and was wondering how things went with adding the baby later on.
My brother in law just won the lottery and my sister is pregnant.
Was it possible for you guys to later unlock the DS260 and add the baby. Did it hinder the whole process?
Thanks!

The definition of exploitation is to use someone or something for personal gain. I'd say that fits to to a tee, no?
Yes and that's exactly what she did to him, she used him for personal gain.

Get an order of protection from her so she cant come close to you, once she does she violates the order and can be arrested. This way her WAVA plan won't be an option. Don't go to public places, only work and home. So this way she won't be able to say she confronted you somewhere in public. Make sure the only places you can run into her are your home or your work and this way it will be obvious she came to you and not vice versa.
Good luck
